MSNBC Filtering The Story

Filtering out the stuff they don't want the public to see ... because it clashes with the broadcaster's own dogma and the lies they tell every day.

To be sure ... MSNBC and CNCB and NBC are the worst of the bunch in US media promoting liberalism and misrepresentation of all things conservative.

But if you don't pay attention then you don't ever get to see how the attempt to play the role of "Great and Powerful OZ". Those of us who DO pay attention may from time to time, tire of the constant and self serving dishonesty of the Mainstream Media .... but it remains constant and virtually impossible to avoid. Short of drinking the "coolaide" and giving up on all semblance of sense and critical thinking, the only escape from the perverse press and other media, is to never glance at a paper or turn on a TV or radio ... or view the internet.
The gist of this rant ....

Is all about the fact that while one of the liberal media' favorite themes about conservatives in general and the Republican party in the USA is that we are all just "old white people".
Sure ... old white people tend to be inclined to follow common sense and behave with dignity.
This seems to be something the MSM liberals need to either ignore or in some way demonize. Otherwise, how would they be able to justify their false claims about the participation of non-white and young people in major conservative affairs?

The pathetic thing about this, of course is that so many actually believe the BS being spewed by the likes of MSNBC. But this goes way beyond pathetic ignorance in the public because it is a deliberate and sustained effort of the self appointed arbitors and editors of what is an what is not in fact going on. The MSM as typified by MSNBC refuse to tell the whole story (another problem that I have elaborated on in the past) especially when that story contradicts the most vile aspects of their own agenda.

It is quite surprising how effective this becomes through constant abuse of their media channels. It becomes painfully apparent when they cannot bring themselves to cover ANY of the GoP convention presentations by NON white members and participants. In short MSNBC and the rest of the MSM are attempting to hide the fact that minority citizens DO NOT align themselves with liberals and democrats alone.

Nothing short of evil... because they know damned well that they contribute to racial and social divisions by perpetuating lies.

In lieu of airing speeches from former Democratic Rep. Artur Davis, a black American; Mia Love, a black candidate for the U.S. House of Representatives from Utah; and Texas senatorial hopeful Ted Cruz, a Latino American, MSNBC opted to show commentary anchored by Rachel Maddow from Rev. Al Sharpton, Ed Schultz, Chris Matthews, Chris Hayes and Steve Schmidt.

Ya got that? ..... instead of showing presentations by Conservative members of visible minority groups ... MSNBC chose to show a  a segment fronted by a deranged liberal commentator (Madow), a deranged black racist (Sharpton) and a panel of FOUR dyed in the wool conservative bashing media hacks.

While I have been asked many times over the last decade to SHOW evidence of my assertions about liberal bias in the media, I have never had a problem doing so. 

The real question that needs to be asked is "How the hell can anyone not be aware of this?"

Liberal "Mistakes"

The Guelph Liberal Frank Valeriote says the "Robo Calls" campaign was a mistake.

Hmmm... it was not a mistake at all ... it was deliberate. The mistake was trying to blame it on Conservatives.

Of course now Valeriote is lying through his teeth as he tries to minimize that fact that the CRTC has fined him and his campaign.

I wonder how long Elections Canada will take to ACT on that?

"Ran Out of Constructive Things for Them to Do"

It is indeed ironic that they were so wrong about not having enough food to feed an ever growing number of humans, but rather that we ran out of constructive things for all of them to do. So we get all these fat, pampered lemmings coming up with more and more insane ways to make themselves feel needed.

Some fellow calling himself TrueNorthist had that to say about the sad state of governance.
Particularly obvious in the California ... the state claim to fame seems to have become being at the forefront of decline and decay and hairbrained ideas.

It actually explains a lot about the current state of our western society. There just is not enough constructive things to do .... well at least for people who have no usefull skills. And this, is the fundamental fault with the academic world. Academics in and of themselves serve no useful purpose.

The successess of the last 100 years had nothing to do with academics or political philosophy but everything to do with the unrestrained opportunities to develop and exploit the worlds resources.
The development and exploitation of resources requires great investment in terms of human activity and provides opportunity for large numbers of people to be productive and have constructive things to do.

Ironically ... this societal success also provided a safe and secure environment for academics, politicians, bureaucrats and activists of all sorts.

The Canadian Broadcast Corp. has long outlived its usefulness ... completely abandoned being relevant to Canadians outside of a few people who call themselves "Friends of Canadian Broadcasting" and in fact completely antagonistic to  more than half the population.


All the while sucking up out tax dollars to the tune of nearly $1.4 BILLION dollars every year.

What better way to accomplish a thorough realignment of the priorities at the Ceeb than to hire Conrad as the new CEO and President? Give him the task of taking the parasitic organisation off the public teet and set them to the business of either proving their worth or selling off the assets paid for by the Canadian public .... and returning out money.

I'd bet that Conrad would be up to the task.

This ALL started when that miserable little preacher and commie tool, Carter the Peanut Farmer signed the Community Reinvestment Act in 1977.

The act was created by "community activist groups" and written by the "National Peoples Action" committee of Chicago. It was specifically their aim to force government to in turn, force lenders to lend money to people who could not afford to borrow money.
The Democrat dominated 95th Congress pessed the act and the Democrat Senate approved it ...Carter signed it.
Everything since then has been a matter of politicians trying in vain to impose damage control on the consequences of this piece of communist inspired policy that was written by black racist communists and enacted by stupid liberal politicians in order to BUY votes. This includes all the spineless GOP congressional reps and Senators over the years who failed to take the issue on and deal with it. It also includes Reagan, GHWBush and GWBush.
Chicago + NPA + Democrats + Obama = Trouble for EVERYONE
You cannot expect anything BUT support for carrying on this disaster until every one of these players are removed from the left side of the equation.

Property Rights on Reserves?

So the question has come up about whether native residents on reserves should have property rights.

Damned RIGHT! Instead of the thugs and thieves who run the reserves having arbitrary power to give and take anything and everything from those they favour or disfavour.

And that goes double for those of us  who earned and paid for the properties we live on, work on or simply invest in.

The sorry fact that Canadians have to live with is  that our government considers us to be vassals and tenants. They allow us to reside where we pay the price to do so... but only so long as it remains convenient for the "Crown" and the representatives of the crown to allow this.

A sad fact that anyone in Canada can have their property confiscated. Led me to wonder just how Americans stood still for the changes in "Eminent Domain" laws that were shoved down their throats by the courts just a few years ago.

Canadian Media ... Cheshire Cat

With a hat tip to Small Dead Animals ... the Saskatchewan based blog that ... In My Opinion ... has done more to inform and educate the world on the FACTS about the Canadian Wheat Board than the entire mainstream media or the collective propaganda that has been promoted by government agencies .... or the entire realm of academia.

Since taking the WCB on as an issue the SDA crew of contributors and commenting readers has well dissected every point of view and most of the blather ... both pro and con ... that has been tossed about in the public realm.

Since the federal government has put an end to its agencies enforced rule and power to prosecute objectors to the agency mandates, the question of whether membership and subscription to the WCB services is beneficial or not will be decided by farmers instead of government "experts" and bureaucrats. Strike ONE large blow for freedom.

Striking the second blow for freedom against this abuse of government, the Prime Minister has put forward and taken the initiative to pardon victims of the WCBs over reaching bureaucrats who committed the "crime" of selling or trying to sell their own property outside of the wheat board.

Remember that the WCB was the creation of liberals in government and in the grain business and supported by some farmers. The WCB was defended and supported in public by liberal media and academics who favour government intervention over individual initiative.

Remember also that these same "progressives" favour the pardon and enforced compensation of people like Maher Arrar and  argue for the repatriation of  Omar Khadr .... the same people whose hearts bleed for rioter, vandals and thieves of all stripes instead of demanding that justice be served.

Never forget.

The Media Who Create and Sustain the Tone

Are Responsible for the deterioration ... and the lack of civility in civil discourse. Because it is the media who feed off the manufactured controversy.

They print and broadcast outrageous and offensive statements from all corners. They do so without regard for context or even comment on motivation for these political barbs or simply uninformed opinions or even outright lies. It is only when the tables are turned on their pet themes that bleat about "civility".

Well ... you know what? This exactly WHY there is ever less regard for so called credibility of the Mainstream Media. Even if people believe the messages being promoted by the media, only the most clueless and dense readers,listeners and viewers of the "news" are unaffected by the blatant manipulation that is being practiced.

And so it goes that ever more people avoid these media assaults on their consciousness and psyche. Because, even if a person is not conscious of the twisting and manipulation there is a natural reaction to being subjected to information that conflicts with reality. The natural self defense mechanism in most of us makes us want to avoid the stress created by this disconnection.

Of course these clowns in the media continue to react to the loss of audience by producing ever more of the same self serving garbage and doing so in ever increasing volume.

The MSM claim and perhaps even believe they hold the moral and intellectual high ground in public discourse. The facts are the exact opposite.

It's really as simple as this... not everyone bows to self proclaimed authority. There remains in this world people who actually consider the reasons a self proclaimed authority makes declarations and those same people are often capable of spotting the flaws in a story.

There are suckers in this world and there are people who dislike being used ... ie, Not Suckers.

Every con game has a theme and the need to stick to that theme is paramount to the fraudster.
When a group of people are won over by a con they become fanatic about it.
When a fraudster has his army of fanatics in play the fraudster(s) will never allow themselves to be questioned. Instead, the fanatics are relied upon to derail those who are questioning the game.

The fanatics wage the war of words on behalf of the fraudsters and manipulators. One of the weapons they  have in their quiver of crooked arrows is the LABEL. The only purpose of the label is to provide a simple distraction to keep the otherwise uninformed or uninterested from considering the point of view that they fear being considered.

What is a "denier"?  In the matter of the climate science fraud it is synonymous with Not a Sucker.

BTW - On the matter of people like Bill McKibben who writes:

Sun TV News ... What's the Difference?

When the arrival of Sun TV news was first announced there was a lot of hoopla from all corners about the value this development would represent in our media landscape.

The mainstream media and their fans in the progressosphere of liberals and the rest of  that ilk were frothing at their collective mouth ... spewing every possible epithet and slander possible. Basically dredged up from their swamp fever imaginations of a world controlled by some sort of evangelical fascist sort of propaganda machine that would be  beaming fearsome ideas somehow into their permeable little heads.

The RIGHT side of Canadian Society basically wanted to see ANYTHING that wasn't tainted by the anti-conservative and dystopian views of the existing MSM.

The promoters of the new network were promising to be BETTER than the agenda driven propagators of manufactured opinion who claim to speak FOR us all.

Well .... THIS skeptical blogger was not convinced of anything. And, as it turns out all of my doubts about Sun TV have been pretty much validated.

First - Sun TV news network derives it's internal resources from the Sun Publications group which has none of the fundamental stuff that makes for good reporting, intelligent editorials or informed opinion.
Second - The production and on air staff pool is a collection of half baked media hacks and pompous windbags. A motley crew of mediocrities with no depth and no history of having any character or intelligence.
Third - There was never any reason to expect that this effort to  run a counter agenda program to the status-quo of liberal propagandist media would behave any differently than the rest of the bottom feeding Mainstream Media.

The latest piece of journalistic poopoo from Sun TV rivaled the lowest of the commonplace contrivances we see on a daily basis from the likes of CBC/CTV and the common print outlets.
Yesterday on Byline with Brian Lilley ... the program was a rush to report on how CBC is wasting taxpayer dollars on the losing proposition of buying the broadcast rights to the Olympics.
This may be a reasonable point of view and a subject worth investigating. But, Lilley and the Byline producers did virtually NO investigating and plenty of opinionating without a damned bit of factual information to back up a prime time half witted rant about the CBC. Adding insult to injury for those of us with any amount of  observational or comprehensional ability was the manner in which they cut into a bit of recorded programming from the Adler program ... where Chuck had a guest on to talk about the money losing proposition  FOR HOST CITIES and Countries. Let me be clear about this ... the intent of that segue into the other program material was to support the argument that Broadcasting the Olympics is a money loser. There was no effort to show the context of the other material either before or after the insertion of the video. In short ... this was a deliberate misrepresentation of a separate story and issue used to manufacture the appearance of having facts to support an unsupported report.

In short Makin Shit Up .... just like the rest of the media.

Aside from launching counter arguments to the rest of the MSM and calling BS on leftwing pols, activists and the rest of the usual suspects from the fantasyland side of society .... Sun News has done nothing to improve the quality of information or analysis or even entertainment provided through the idiot box or the digital news feeds.
