Crumbly Chimbly

The weather has been pretty mild these last few days so we have been having our chimbly worked on. Many of the bricks were crumbling out. We do not care for the noise of the brick grinding and all the stomping around on the roof so we've been taking refuge at the opposite end of the house.

The sun came out today! This is a Big Event because it has been mostly gray and overcast for much of the winter. Mom uses her Happy Light, but it is no substitute for the real thing, and her vacation to Phoenix in March is still too far away so it is a cause for celebration to see our good friend the sun! Scout and I naturally gravitated to the bed where mom naturally had to take pictures.  -Shaggy

Zolie Visits at the Window

 Zolie came out of the garage today and paid us a visit around back on our deck. The weather has been in the upper 30's these last couple days so she has been out getting fresh air and checking out her territory. Before she moved into the garage three years ago she used to show up at this door to ask for food. Now it is always available for her in the garage, so she just comes around back to watch us through the window. In the spring and summer it is nice and sunny back there, and she loves that too. Pretty Zolie!

Happy Light, Happy Box

 Mom is SAD every winter. For the last 3 years she's been saying how she ought to get herself a therapy light. Well, she finally did the research and bought one. She is Happy with the Light and I am Happy with the Box! People can be so slow to get around to things.  -Scout
