Little Cat Feet

Shaggy and his littermate brother Scooby came to live with us in October 2005, when they were 5 years old. Scout arrived in 2006 at the age of 6 weeks. Scooby passed over very suddenly to the Rainbow Bridge on April 1, 2012 and is remembered fondly and missed deeply.

Kitty Pumpkin

Our oldest boy and his fiancee visited us from Chicago last weekend and they went to a pumpkin carving party. This isn't their pumpkin but they traded for it at the end of the night so they could surprise Mom with it. It sure put a smile on her face. We gave it a good sniffing and detected no harm coming from it, so we'll allow it to stay.

It's Good To Have a Kitty to Hold

Many of you know that our youngest boy (young man, he's 26) has been terribly sick in the hospital up in North Dakota. Mom has been making trips up there to visit him. He's had a third surgery from complications of a collapsed lung and rampant infection. He has two surgeries earlier this summer and this latest one was Oct. 1. He is in an airborne isolation room and still has drainage tubes in place. It looks like he will be transferred to Fargo soon to a Long Term Acute Care facility. A place that specializes in difficult, complicated cases.  Please purr for him.  Mom went for a check up last week. A routine chest x-ray shows she has something growing in her lung. She had a CT scan done a couple days ago and should find out more info this week.  Please keep purring. I'm sticking close to her. She's very tired, but hanging in there.  -Shaggy

Again?

Nope. Not coming out.
I'm not invisible, am I?
Snatched up from a deep afternoon siesta, I suddenly found myself thrust into the PTU and whisked off the the v-e-t. Has it been a year already? I look terribly brave in these pictures but just between us cats, I'm trembling. Mom took me on her lap after she got her pictures. Pictures first, you know....I'm 100% healthy. They even stole my bloods and those are good too. My teeths are clean. Only a speck of tartar that the v-e-t picked off with his fingernail. I haven't gained even a tenth of a pound in the last two years. I'm 15 pounds of awesome mancat!  -Scout

Toby in the Yard

That green stuff is pretty good!
Mom put Toby in the yard a couple weeks ago when the grass was still lush & green. He loves to go outside and get close to nature and have a good munch on the green stuff.  She even brushed him with our Furminator...he sheds a lot! He had a nice time in the sun,  and nibbled down lots of fresh grass.  -Scout
Mom goes all kissy on his little face

We're In the Chewy Family!

Whoo hoo! It's here!
Mom finally decided to see what all the fuss is about with this Mr. Chewy guy so she placed an order for the 3 kinds of foods we eat the most. She was impressed. It shipped the very next day and we got it in 4 days! Great service and good prices! We'll be ordering again!

Mom Returns, May We Eat Now?

Sticking close to Mom
Mom is back from North Dakota. For those who don't know, our youngest boy (age 26) is in the hospital and remains in serious condition after his lung collapsed a third time in six months and a massive infection set in. He has other immune systems problems so his recovery and progress is slow and guarded. We were glad to see her after dad starved us. He doesn't fall for the love eyes and begging polite requests for more food. She's catching up on things around the house and giving us the additional love we've missed for over a week. Would you please keep purring for our boy?
