The Monsters! Halloween 2017

The Monster Family!

I thought this was going to be an "easy" costume to do this year...but with the makeup application...it was a bit tricky.

Lucia the Ware Wolf.  Tio Miguel gifted Lucia this costume for one of her birthdays because "she needed a wolf costume," we have gotten lot's of use out of it and she really loves it.

 We just added the plaid dress.

 Violet wanted to be a purple witch/wizard.

This costume fit the description and thanks to ebay we got a really nice used one.

 I put eye shadow and lipstick on her...she was like "I look so weird".  Then said ok I can take this off!

I tried to look for a second hand vampire costume...and gosh you think I could have found one.  But nope Walmart Vampire.

He was so excited.

 I had to get one with his pretty teeth.

 He insisted on these different poses.

I was trying to keep Halloween simple this year......it was and at the same time it was not.

I had the Frankenstein bride wig from another Halloween 90% deal and thought ok we can be monsters.

Theses pictures were my inspiration for the dress and makeup.

I found an toga costume at goodwill and a white shirt with massive shoulder pads.

Then just picked up a few yards of white fabric to compete the look. 

I was happy with the results.

Perfect couple! 

Chad's costume was the best and easiest.

Goodwill for the jacket and t-shirt.

Halloween paint and bolts from Walmart.

Had the short hair black wig, another 70% of Halloween special.

We had fun going around our loop for candy.

The spookiest porch in the neighborhood.

 Love seeing this guy each year.

 The cutest neighbors you ever saw.

Well, that's a wrap Halloween 2017 was another great time!

So tempted to buy this after Halloween at target, but I didn't want to store it!

Fall Carnival, Trunk or Treat and Carving Pumpkins

The Annual school carnival was so fun and they really do an amazing job every year. 

Lucia won a huge cake at the cake walk. Violet also won a large one as well, it was spooky with eyeballs all around it. 

Last year Lucia entered the costume contest and won cutest costume. 

So this year she was so pumped to do it again.  All the kids entered the contest and Benicio won Best Boy Costume!  He could not believe it!  It was adorable, He kept saying "My first trophy!"

Lucia also won best girl costume!  She was soooo Happy!

The fire department also made their appearance and boy they just loved Benicio's outfit. 

Lucia had so much fun with her BFF.

We had about an hour of rest and then we were off to Trunk or Treat at the church.

Unfortunately this year it only lasted an hour.  So we did better with the trunk but I had even more plans but decided it wasn't enough time. 

But the kids had fun.

and since my partner of crime had to go and work...I decided to be a witch for the occasion.

The night before Halloween it was time to carve our pumpkins.

Everyone got into it this year.

More Halloween Parties!

Benicio was so excited to be a vampire this year.

He wanted these different poses with his costume.

I also picked up some second hand costumes for a few dollars and the kids were super happy. 

My little vampire..

Our first party was at the Nelson's house. It was a family friendly party.

We ended up winning "Best Family Costume!"

It was so much fun!

She had games like who can eat the their gummy bears the fastest.

Who can eat the doughnut the fastest.

Chad manned the donuts table and I loved hearing him get the kids excited.  He said "Do it for your family, do it for your family name eat that doughnut as fast as you can!"  Who is the champion.  It was hilarious! I sure love this guy.

I helped with the crafts spider lollipops and ghosts.

The entire gang! What a party! The food was delicious and just a super fun time.

The next night was an adult only party.

 We won "Best Couple Costume!"  and some sweet scary dvds to enjoy.

 I thought the food presentation was the best.

 It was also Larry's birthday and this guy loves Halloween, he has the best decorations.

We then went on a scavenger hunt around the neighborhood, boys vs. girls.

That caused several laughs oh and the girls won!

Octobler has turned out to be super fun and super busy!!!
