It's Christmas with a special princess bride!

The calm before the fun...
Santa left a nice letter to the girls and Sebastian left a little note too!

The first little mouse awake and ready to open a gift!
Violet was the last one up, but eager to show us all the goodies.
Which one should I open first?

They first opened some doll accessories....
To fit in there doll house!

Ethnie was getting the hang of opening all the presents.
More little birdies for Gramma Jan's Christmas tree.

Aunt Steph and Uncle Jakob had some gifts for the little Tobler man on the way...
Here Lucia is modeling his tool belt with accessories....
an adorable leather jacket to match with Papi
Lot's of cute boy burp cloths and a bib that says "these fools put my cape on backwards."

After all the presents were opened, Violet spotted a bag hanging from the back of the Christmas tree...
When she opened it she found a beautiful wedding veil...with a note from Santa that said she was to check the front hallway for the rest of her gift...

"A wedding dress, just my size!"
Here is the beautiful wedding princess...

We had a very happy bride...

Uncle Jakob and Papi putting together Lucia's princess tower.
A puzzle was being worked on for about 3 days...and it was totally completed!
An Italian dinner for Christmas day...

It was as Lucia would say "DE-LICIOUS!"

We had a wonderful Christmas and hope that you and your family had a great one too!

It was sad having to say goodbye to the family.  On the last day, there was lot's of cleaning and mending of precious princess dresses (that get worn on a daily basis).

Thanks Gramma, Grampa, Jakob, Steph and Ethnie for making our Christmas a great one...we were happy that we were not going to be lonely this year :)!

Christmas Eve fun..

Singing our blue Christmas to Great-Grandma Virginia
 Christmas caroling to the neighbors.
Here is Lucia saying "Ho, Ho, HO"
Waiting for the door to open....

Before going inside we sprinkled the magic reindeer food.

The girls are excited that Santa will be coming down the chimney soon!

We had to say goodbye to Sebastian, but we left him some special cookies as well as a thank you.

The girls sure do miss him, but I tell him don't worry he will be back next year!

Sunday Christmas activities

Sebastian is checking his list and discussing the girls behaviors with a few friends.
I was sad to miss church with the family and my request from the bedroom was take pictures of the girls in there Sunday dresses.....This is what was captured!

Violet received a popcorn ball and did not want to let go of it.

This shot was captured with the help of an itouch device.

Probably my saddest moment the whole reunion was not getting to participate in the Tobler tradition of making ginger bread houses.
The girls loved it.

There was lot's of concentration going on and creative juices were flowing.

Chad helped Lucia put together her masterpiece.

I can hear Lucia say "Ta-Da"

Loving the results.
Grampa Karl added a stained glass effect to his home.

Steph brought out her Christmas bells and we were serenade by the beautiful ringing of the bells.
Every night Gramma has been here she has read from the Christmas book to Violet.
It's fun to see her enjoying books that are not full of pictures.
Ethnie loved our bookshelf's, it's just so fun to move the books.
I remember Violet loving this activity as well.
