Our roof gets replaced and Benicio plays in the rain!

 Our roof was replaced, FINALLY!
Last year we noticed we had a leak and we were reassured that all we needed was to fix some area of the roof and that the roof would last another 10 years.  Well, this year I actually got a water spot on the ceiling so it was definitely time to just replace the whole thing.

Chad took the day off of work to make sure the job was getting done right.
Good thing he was home.  I worked that day.

There was some rotted wood in places and it was all replaced as well.

This must be one of the most scariest jobs on the planet.

Getting the paper on, you can see Benicio observing the job as well.

Back of house.

While Papi was outside, this little guy got hungry and took matters into his own hands.
Let me just finish up that cake you got there...

Day 2.
Garage and finishing up the back of the house.

 We love it!

and good thing that we got it done when we did...the rain came for the entire week after!

This little boy enjoyed jumping in the puddles!

and why not enjoy a cool ride around the backyard in the rain?

Getting it done with Gramma...Violet moves into her own room

During the week Gramma was here the girls were back in school.
So when they got home  they were excited to play games with Gramma.
A new favorite called Qwirkle  was played many a times.

Awe...hard to believe he was 2 years old for the last time in this picture...he is getting so big.  I can't believe how long his legs are.
There was piano practice..

Among the photography, Benicios birthday party, mending, organizing and de-junking, Violet finally got what she wanted...her very own room.

She was BEYOND excited.

The nice thing is that Benicio and Lucia are loving sharing the room downstairs.
Instead of princess costumes, we now have a superhero/animal costume box in Benicio and Lucia's room.

Gramma THANK YOU for ALL your help during the week.

Benicio is 3!

Benicio is obsessed with Fireman/Firetrucks, we will be any where and he will hear the siren and say "Firetruck, hurry Mami!" and try and look for it.

Hard to believe that my baby is three now.
He loves cars, Duplo legos, airplanes, dressing up in his costumes, his red little tykes car, his bicycle with training wheels.

He's in the 10 percentile for his height  and 45 percentile for his weight. at 29lbs.

He loves to eat squeeze applesauce, cheese, yogurt, jello, milk, soup, noodles, mac n cheese, any fruit, he eats most meats but some days he doesn't want any and other's he will eat everything.  In other words he is a good eater.

He loves to look at books and enjoys being read to.  We will start going back to the library for story time, I think now he will be ready for it.
He loves to play with his best friend Dani while I'm at work, and he loves to go to nursery.
He also doesn't mind going to "little school" also know as my gyms daycare.

Benicio loves being outdoors he loves to go on bike rides and play at the park.
Papi get's home and Benicio is ready to go he likes going on errands and different adventures.

This boy LOVES music and dancing.
He loves playing his guitar and shaking his bum.

He is talking quite a bit now and I can understand most everything that he wants/needs.
He can be stubborn and hard headed and throw a good fit, but I think that's pretty normal at this age.
He loves to play with Lucia, if Papi and Benicio are going on a bike ride he will ask "where is Lucia?" and wants her to join in on the fun.  He also loves going in the van to pick up the girls after school.  He also loves when big sister Violet reads to him and plays games with him.
He is very loving.  Likes to snuggle and give kisses and hugs.
He loves talking to Bisabuela Elsa and going to her house, and he loves Gramma and wants to also go to her house!  It is super cute.
It worked out so nicely that the Seabrook Fire Dept. let us get a tour of all the vehicle's let Benicio hop in and out of all the trucks and let us take his birthday pictures.
Gramma and I thought we would take some next to a fire hydrant if we couldn't get this scheduled but by far these pictures are way cooler.  The lady at the desk said "I see we need to get an application for you."  They loved the costume, it looks just like the adult fireman costumes.

Here I am ready to turn 3!

Benicio we love you so much and looking forward to the exciting year ahead of fun!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY my little man!
XOXOXO

Happy Easter!

The day before Easter the kids had fun dying eggs with Gramma.
The "proper" way for a toddler to color his eggs....
The REAL way a toddler likes to dye his eggs..

The Baskets awaiting very excited children.
Benicio got to pick 4 eggs first before the girls could go on the hunt.
Looks like we got another friend this year.
Super happy with the loot.
Chad wanted Gramma to have one more really fun thing to do before she was to get on the plane. Since the bikes were still on the back of the van they headed to our "dream" neighborhood.
I was still tired from all other activities so I stayed behind and prepared Easter dinner.
 It was a gorgeous day!
Delicious meal right before church!
Happy Easter!  With love the Toblers.
