Walking and Weaning...

Last Friday, Violet decided to start walking and she loves walking now more than crawling. We were at my Abuela Elsa's house and since everything is close she got the confidence to walk everywhere! She has also decided to wean herself, I guess since she is turning one she wants to be a BIG girl now!

YW Sleepover

A little Karaoke

The girls came over for a Sleepover/Secret Project/Mother's day gifts, fun!! I think that they had a great time together. Lot's of pizza, soda, Doritos, Karaoke and fun! Violet had a blast as usual with the Young Women, I think she would like to jump into that program and skip Primary! I feel truly blessed to be working with such AWESOME Young Women!

Jan & Karl came out to Florida for Jeff and Amy's graduation. It was such a fun time having Tobler's in our home. I was surprised on Thursday when I got home from work to see that they had moved the piano and chase lounge into the formal dining area, the bookshelf's into the "man" room and now I have a play room for Violet. I am so excited! Now I have to organize things. We drove up to Gainesville the next day and enjoyed attending Jeff's graduation. They had a fun party at the pool, where Violet was entertained by the ice in the cooler. On Saturday, Amy and Jeff Graduated and Violet & I went over to the Ramsey's house (because the graduation was going to be a bit long, no fun for Violet). Miguel & I had a great time at the Ramsey's who graciously prepared us a yummy lunch! Sunday we were back in our home and had my parents over for some burgers and bicycling. Sadly we had to say good-bye to Gramma & Grampa on Monday. It was sure a fun time! I love getting together with family :).

I'm 11 Months Old

Violet is beginning to eat "people" food and truly loves it. She is furniture walking so much more now and can walk down the hall using the wall for support. She is standing on her own and is taking steps unsupported. Any day now I know she is going to take off! She still loves the outdoors and can play with a ball as well, she enjoys pushing her stroller or grocery cart in the store around. She can wave bye-bye and even says it (when she feels like it), she blows kisses and gives lots of kisses. She doesn't like the car seat and we now have begun to let her watch videos for long trips. She still loves Baby Einstien, and her music Cd's. She is crazy about her daddy and loves to be in his arms and doing whatever he is doing. She loves her Abuelos neighbours cat Jet and her Bisabuela's dog Bella. She loves bike rides, and playing with other kids. Where has the time gone? It's so exciting to see her do and learn something new everyday. I am so grateful that Heavenly Father has sent Violet into our arms and our home.
