Emily's work behind a lens is phenomenal!  I love spending an afternoon with her because she creates life long treasures for me.  The kids are so comfortable with her.  She captures their genuine smiles.  I feel like I can see their personalities in these pictures.  To me, it is like she captured a little moment in time.

2013.06 Grandpa is in town!

Since Grandpa is all retired now we are getting to see so much more of him.  I personally love the retired version of my Dad.  I feel like he is an entirely different guy now.  It is amazing what some sleep can do for a person.  Anyway, he was in town to take out the three trees in the back yard that bloom cotton.  While he was here we hit the race tracks.  It was a fun night.  I Love Colton's gummy grin with big (toddlerish) cheeks.  I wonder how long it will stick.  It is so hard watching my babies transform into toddlers and then into full on kids!

2013.06 The Yankees

Baseball players are so cute!  Colton played with most of the kids from his football team and they had a blast.  Mommy even got to pitch quite a few games while Daddy was coaching basketball.  All of the boys did so well.  We are grateful for a wonderful time playing baseball!
