The kids were in their Sunday best to participate in CLC Spring Sing so of course I wanted a picture. And I couldn't pick just one. Here is a collage of my efforts to get the perfect picture.

Spring Sing!
Painting with Pudding.
I am very blessed to have a kindergarten/second grade teacher for a mom. I am always calling and asking questions like "mom.. how do you teach kids to read?" and things like that. She is always giving me great little tips and fun activities that are kid approved. She mentioned finger painting with pudding to help practice writing letters. I am not sure how many letters we practiced out of the whole deal but it was still fun. Jace mostly loved taste testing the pudding. Jillian was all in too and asked for a spoon. Colton wasn't sure he wanted to put his hands in some pudding. It was fun and messy. I have learned that making memories with toddlers usually is very messy.

April Funnies.
Grandma and Auntie Jo were helping with twin duty at Colton's football game while I was at work. Jace wanted to play. Grandma said "jace see those boys have a jersey on, you need a jersey to play" Jace unzipped his coat to show grandma his Boise state jersey and said "Got it Grandma... I play now?"
I pulled over in a Walgreen's with Colton so he could use the restroom, he ran in Walgreen's, looked around and asked the manager "Hey, You got any potties in here?"
At parent teacher Conferences with Jillian they did a small assessment while I was there. Mrs McConnel was asking the questions.

Saturday afternoon.. Flying Kites
We had some kites hanging around so we thought we should give them a whirl. We were successful flying the kite a few times. It didn't last through many attempts though because when it came down it hit pretty hard. I had a great time being outside in the wind. It reminds me of when I was little playing with my brother. We had many attempts of trying to fly in the wind off the trampoline with blankets... anyways. It was a fun nostalgic afternoon flying kites and playing in the wind with my kiddos.
Football / Face painting
The easter bunny left Colton a football that you can paint! Colton couldn't wait to get his hands on it, he was working on a sunshine with stars on one side and bronco colors on the other side. Jillian, Jace and Daddy wanted in on the fun too. After Mommy pestered Daddy enough to let Colton paint a little more independently he moved on from Colton's football to faces. The kids loved it and Daddy did too.
