Puppets!

Craft Day!  We tried making some puppet Dragons.  They all turned out pretty cute!  Colton's had a spine going down the back that I loved.  Jace loved the big puffy balls and Jillian loved playing with the eyes.  In the end we had some scary dragons with very proud owners.

The Dinosaur Museum!

While the parents are away!! The kids will play!!  Oh yes, this is where the funs starts.  So Uncle Kip drank his potion with six sets of little eyes watching him and then Aunt Erin took him away for the day.  Mean while we were getting ready to start the day.  I recruited my Mom to help (she is always up for an adventure) so her and I worked on breakfast.  Then we had to get Kashus to church for primary concert practice.  My mom took the bigs boys and headed to church and I took the littles to the park.  We met had home, had some lunch, naps and then by 5 we were off to the dinosaur museum.  A little behind schedule but thats fine!It was fabulous in there.  So much to see and do and touch and we didn't loose anyone.. (remember we have a 5, 4, 3, two 2's, and an 18 monther)!  We stayed until it closed and picked up dinner on the way home. We got home and Kip and Erin had made it home safe, I delivered her kids back to her tired and hungery just like a good Aunt should...

Look at Jace below! So cute how he is holding onto Julianna!

Kip turns 30

Kip turns 30!  He is as old as dirt but still acts like he is 12 on occasion.  But that is why I like him!!  I wanted to try to give Kipper some time with his wife for his birthday because well for my birthday time alone with my husband is most often my favorite present!  It started with trying to plan a trip for them back to San Diego to see the temple and the area where Kip served his mission and then as things panned out and it got closer to the big day it ended up being a day out and about with a few activities, a secret potion, and a nice dinner.  That was perfect because we had a blast without Kip and Erin and just their kids, but I was sure glad to see them home when we got home from our adventures.
In the pictures Erin was giving Kip his secret potion and was telling the story behind it... the kids were all ears and listening so intently.  I am not sure what happened after Kip drank his secret potion but I think him and Erin had a great day!  There was also a story about sumo wrestling and an I-pad that we all got to hear about 18 times!  Be sure to ask Kip the next time you see him.  He would love to tell it again!  Thanks for sharing your babes with me Kip and Erin!Posted by Picasa

The Apple Orchard!

All the kids together.

Colton with Olivia while big brother Ryan watches over above and the boys below.

We are so lucky to live so close to this beautiful orchard.  Every year we go help pick apples and peaches for the farm and then we are welcome to glean the fruit that isn't the right size or shape that they prefer.  We go with our family friends Suzanne, Casi, Ryan, and Olivia.  The kids love it and so do I.  I also love the applesauce and apple cider that comes from these adventures to the orchard.Posted by Picasa

Colton James!

My Colton Boo Bubsie Woo!  I get so proud whenever I think about you.  You are such a sweet kind hearted big brother and an amazing son. You are growing leaps and bounds in so many ways.  Socially you are cracking jokes and teasing, I can see you fitting in with your peers in a big boy style and you welcome Jace into all your social circles.  You are very competitive and very much a leader.  Around your Dad you are very tough and around Mom you are very tender.  I love that you were born in October so I get a little more time with you before you head off to school.  You love donuts, watching football with dad and adventures with mom.  You love to play tag and you are a Boise state bronco fanatic! You love chocolate milk and peanut butter with jelly.  My favorite thing you have said to mommy this year is "Mom, you can call me cute if you want too, but only when Dad isn't here."  (Daddy thinks puppies and babies are cute... Not big boys.. they are handsome!)  I am so lucky to be your mommy!

Julianna's Ice Cream treat!

I love this picture of them all lined up.
Nothing says love like cotton candy ice cream with bubble gum in it!!

Julianna's birthday is six days after Colton's, she was having an ice cream party when she got back home but Grandpa loves to spoil his grandkids (and personally I think he is a little smitten with his grand-daughters!) so he wanted to take Julianna out for some ice cream and we all got to tag along.  Happy birthday Julianna and Thanks for the Ice Cream Grandpa!Posted by Picasa

Fun at the Park

Shortly after the party we zipped up to the park.  I thought these pictures were cute so I had to throw them in.  All these kids are growing up too fast!  We used to have just four toddler boys lined up on the couch... now we have four big boys, four toddlers, a nine month old babe (in California) and one on the way (in Erin's belly.)Posted by Picasa

Colton turns five!

For Colton's fifth birthday he had a tough decision between a level 2 Mario party (last year they passed level 1) or a star wars party.  He ended up picking star wars.  Then we asked if he wanted to have a party in Boise with his friends or drive to Pocatello and invite his cousins.  He picked a party with his cousins. I am so blessed to have so many talented people in my life because I had a lot of help in hosting Colton's star wars party and it was a hit!  Everyone there had a lot of fun and I loved that he got to share his party with all of his family!
