03.26.2013 Luigi's Flying Tires.

Luigi's flying tires!

No one knows their secret for sure, but the tradition of the Festival of the Flying Tires dates back to the 1930s, when Luigi's Uncle Topolino ordered a shipment of the Fettuccini Tire Company's new Cuscino D' Aria tires.

To the amazement of the residents of Topolino's small Italian village, when the tires were unloaded they began to mysteriously float off the ground and gracefully move around as if they were dancing.

We couldn't wait to dance in the flying tires!
The ride was like a giant bumper tire ride.  The large tires hoovered over the ground and you could guide them by leaning one direction or the other direction in order to make them "Dance."  Needless to say the girls had a tire full of laughing boys hot on our trail.  We went FLYING after our tire DAncEd will Dad, Colton and Jace's tire. We had some great belly laughs and even some better collisions!

03.26.2013 Day 2 California Adventure! Carsland!

Day 2!!
I am pretty sure I love Cars just as much as Jace.  When Colton was Jace's age he was a huge Car's fan too.  There is just something special about Radiator Springs.  We couldn't wait to check it out.  It felt like we were the first people in the park so we thought getting to the Cars ride in Carsland would be great and we wouldn't have to wait too long.  We made it to the front in lighting time of 2 hours and 20 minutes.  The boys even had time to sneak off to Mater's Tractor Pull and get tossed around while us girls inched forward.  Well the Car's ride did not disappoint.  It was so fun going on the race track and then taking our time going through radiator spings.  The car race was full of twists and turns and excitment.  I loved that we all got to go together too.
