Lace or ribbon

Hi everyone

Welcome back ...

For this challenge I opted for lace and instead of raiding my boxes of lace I grabbed a lace edge die and grabbed a piece of cardstock and went with it.

I've used a Kaisercraft paper collection for this card - Rosabella ...
beautiful papers in this small paper pad.

Sure hope everyone is finding a little creative time at the moment.

Wrap up warm, stay inside out of the rain and wind and create!

Sounds good to me.

Colour me orange

Today's creativity - colour me orange.

Today's tag - it's all about the colour orange.

Actually when it comes to creating, orange is a fabulous colour to create with, well in my case, add to black and white.

I did actually flick a little orange spray underneath my embellishment cluster, but decided it needed to be covered up. I went with the floral bloom and the peg - 'orange' you're now covered.

Sure hope everyone is finding a little creative time at the moment.

Wrap up warm, stay inside out of the rain and wind and create!

Sounds good to me.

I see red, I see red, I see red ...

Hi everyone,

Red is not a colour that I normally use when creating unless it is Christmas themed.

It's not really a 'me' colour to be honest.

But create I did and with a little red and so it had to be Christmassy.  It just did.

The inside ...

and a closer look at some of the panels ...

Another project done and dusted and another Quarantine Challenge completed.

Go me ... just playing away and creating in my isolation bubble.

Hope you are all finding a little creating time.

It has to be good for you.

Take care, stay safe and stay home.

Laugh ...

Hi everyone,

My Secret Love - a paper collection from Couture Creations - even the name of it sounds fabulous - My Secret Love ... hmmmmmmmm.

I've made a card with this collection - let me talk you through how I've put it together.

Bottom layer white cardstock base, and working our way up, patterned paper, another layer of white cardstock.  I've cut out two doilies, scored them in half and adhered.

Next layer is another patterned paper - this time the gorgeous leafy paper.

I've then added a layer of tulle.

I've cut out a pile of leafy foliage.

Stamped a sentiment for my card.

And then, I have built up my embellishment cluster with the foliage, some muslin [cheesecloth], some crafting fibres and a handmade foamiran bloom.

Again in is entirety ...

and a process video ...

 Materials used :

Couture Creations A4 sheets of white foamiran
CO727589 - 12x12 patterned paper
CO727595 - 12x12 patterned paper
CO726342 - 12" scoreboard
CO721985 - double sided tape
ULT200001 - white cardstock - 12" x 12" - Snow White

Until next time, take care.
Happy crafting

Quarantine Challenge #2

Well this was always going to happen - corrugated card and me ... yep - can handle that.

Christmas and me - yep - can handle that too.

Although the photos aren't the best - this Christmas tag made out of corrugated card [old pizza box that was filled with crafting supplies] is really, really sparkly.

Yet for some reason these photos are quite dull - not sure why - but it is what it is.

Now don't shoot me down now with that word 'Christmas' ... it's getting closer, slowly, but surely ...  just saying.

Happy crafting my friends.

Hope all is well and you are safe in your wee bubble.

Take care.

Quarantine Challenge Day #3

I've been saying for years that there really isn't 'blue' in the scrapping world.

This paper collection is called Sapphire Wings and you can find it for sale here.

It's amazing value for your creative budget.

The 'blues' ... they absolutely rock.

Hope you are find a little creative time.

Happy creating my friends.

Take care - stay safe - and stay at home!!!

Just saying.

Quarantine Challenge Day #8

How about a little yellow - definitely not my most favourite colour - but it did bring a smile when I finished this card.

In fact it really would brighten someone's day - I have someone in mind.

Happy creating my friends.

Quarantine Challenge Day #11

So ... while I'm sure that I won't get the chance to play along with all the Quarantine Challenges ... as and when I do, I will share my creativity.

This was really a bitsers challenge for me - I was moving some stuff [read here bits and pieces] and in doing so I really did whip up this tag with stuff that was just sitting in my creative space that hadn't been put away - happens a lot if I'm being honest - ROFLMAO.

And when I say whip up - I mean just say - this is a five minute tag tops - it took longer for the gesso to dry than it did to make the tag.

Right then ... next ...

How about another one ...

Hi there and welcome back. Yep, I'm on a roll. I realised that I hadn't shared this layout - another one ... White, green and orang...
