Have to be honest and say that I have waited for ever for this collection to reach the bottom of the world.
So ... what did I make, what have I made and what still remains a work in progress?
Lots of creativity - ROFLMAO --- you will have to wait until show and tell.
But let me share this wee project.

I have to say that I absolutely adore how this turned out.
What did I do - I started with a peat pot, the plain ol' humble peat pot and smothered it in heavy white gesso and let it dry.
I then mixed a little Mica powder - vintage pink with some more heavy gesso - think here, a couple of big dollops and then finger painted it over the inside and outside of my peat pot and once again I waited for it to dry.
I hate waiting on paint to dry - but I did.
I cut a strip of dark paper, inked the edges and adhere to the bottom edge of the peat pot.
I have also adhered a strip of small white lacey ribbon flowers to the top edge of the peat pot.
I have glued a white polystyrene ball inside the peat pot and glued in a stick and left it protruding from the ball.
I have cut pieces of muslin and pulled them apart a little and then cut strips of white tulle and tied and knotted them along the stick.
Using those gorgeous papers from the Rose Quartz paper pad, I have selected ten pieces of paper and folded them in half.
I have cut out a panel of a hot air balloon shape, folded it in half and drawn around the edge and then cut it out. So that I have ten panels.
I have glued and used a double sided tape to join each layer together, inked around the edges to form my balloon.
Then as I joined the very last panel I adhered it to the stick protruding from the polystyrene ball.
I have glued a piece of lace around the bottom of the hot air balloon and then sewn and strung pearls along the lace.
I have glued another piece of that same lace around the hot air balloon's middle. I have again sewn on pearls and then I have strung what seemed like 56,000 pearls and joined them to the lace at every second panel. I say that I have strung what seemed like 56,000 pearls, and obviously that is an exaggeration, but when I dropped the packet on the floor and they bounced every bleedin' where, it seemed like that many were on the floor. I kid you not.
I have then adhered pink flowers on every second alternate panel to the the pearls - hope that makes sense.
I have then attached a pink butterfly and found two sentiments 'dream' and adhered one to the lace on the balloon and the other smaller sentiment to the middle of the butterfly body.
I have threaded another couple of pearls to a toothpick and adhered to the top middle of the hot air balloon.
I've then grabbed the gesso tub and randomly applied gesso all over my hot air balloon.
In my head I have made numerous changes to the way I have put this hot air balloon together, so watch this space as I play with the idea a little more in the coming weeks.
In fact, since I have made this balloon, I have made another one and taken pics, step by step [well kind of step by step] - so will share them in the coming days.
Happy creating everyone.

I'm a little bit of a techno klutz, so I'm not sure whether I can link my FB page
video to my blog, but we will give it a go.
Happy creating everyone.
