November or Movember????

I guess it was still in October, but I took the girls to Disney on ice with Betsy and Ella.  The girls wore their princess dresses and we had a blast.  It was the best show! It was all about princesses and the girls were in heaven.  They still talk about it. The main part of the show was Rapunzel which was the best part, and at the end about 10 different princesses and their princes came out.

This was the ride home.....out like a light
Lexi had her first school pics.  I didn't really love her first ones so we decided to do retakes.  The 2nd picture was the result......

Well if they weren't just as bad as the first one, she decided to ruin them at home by trying to following in her dad's footsteps with a mustache for Movember.
For the month of November, Johnny his brothers and a group of guys at work were growing their mustaches.  They made t-shirts and they ended up raising $1000 for men's health research.

One night after prayer Lexi told him that she drew a mustache on her picture.  I thought maybe one of the million pictures that she draws everyday. But then we discovered that she meant her school pictures. Oh my!  I think normally I would be super mad but instead I laughed so hard.  The pictures were horrible anyways, but it makes me smile every time I see it. That one is totally going in her scrapbook.
Grandma Debbi made some gingerbread men with the girls and they insisted that Daddy's had to have a mustache.  December 1st could not come soon enough for me, but finally it arrived. And to this day, Danielle tells me everyday that daddy doesn't have a mustache anymore. They thought it was so fun to kiss it every night, mommy disagreed very much.

We had a fun Thanksgiving break.  Johnny had the week off and we had some family come to town. We had so much fun playing games late into the night, watching movies, going out to eat and of course eating a great Thanksgiving meal.  I don't have any great pics, but Danielle got pied by Grandpa, which was pretty funny.  I don't even think she cared or noticed. :)
Unfortunately we had some sad news in November.  Johnny and I have decided we would like to add another little bundle of joy to our family and a little before Halloween, I had some fun news.  I was feeling pretty good, nauseous but never threw up.  I went in for an appointment at 7 weeks and there was no baby inside.  So they thought maybe my dates were wrong.  So I got put on some hormone shots which I have to get in the bum, and they hurt really bad.  Dr wanted me to come back after a week and check again.  The following week again there was no baby.  So what they concluded is that the egg never fertilized right but my body thought I was pregnant.  That night which was the Monday before Thanksgiving I had a D&C.  The next day I felt better then I had in 5 weeks.  I was sad but glad to not nauseous anymore.  We will have to wait a few more months to try again.  Sometimes I wonder what I am suppose to learn from my trials, and I think this one made me appreciate the kiddos I already have in my life.  So I have tried to be a better mommy and have enjoyed more of the everyday mommy moments.

Halloween 2012

Wow I am so behind on my posting, so get ready folks for some Trevino updates!

Halloween feels so long ago already.  This year we were lucky to have Johnny home to celebrate with us.  This was actually Danielle's first year to help crave the pumpkins.  She didn't love it so much.

Rapunzel Rapunzel let down your hair!
Mirror Mirror on the wall who is the fairest of the them all?
Danielle's preschool group went to the pumpkin patch.  It was a beautiful sunny day and the kiddos had a blast. They were a little sad about not being about to ride the train but we bought them some treats to make up for it.
Danielle was the only one brave enough to get up close to the reindeer.  She was closer, then the reindeer came in to smell her and she jumped back, but at least she was laughing.

I also got to go with Lexi's class to the pumpkin patch.  It was fun to see how she acts with her classmates.  Which is.... she does her own thing and she doesn't really talk to anyone.

Can you tell that is was a very windy day????
Johnny took the girls out treat or treating with Grandpa while Grandma and I stay in a handed out candy to about 100 kids in my neighborhood. :)
