Memorial Day in Lewiston Idaho

We had a fun weekend camping with the Trevino's. We drove down on Sat and left on Monday. We didn't really do much but eat and sit around. It was fun watching Lexi explore the great outdoors. Even at home she is always looking out the window and wanting to play in her pool or on the grass. I think it is great but stinks when I don't want to go out there.

She loved playing in the dirt, blowing bubbles, eating yummy food and seeing the neighbors dog.

Probably one of my favorite parts of camping now is when all of the kids beg Johnny to tell a story around the campfire. He is such an awesome storyteller! I think he likes doing it but he may tell you otherwise!

Lexi's 1st Birthday

Lexi's 1st b-day was great! She loved all of her new stuff. Her favorite is all the new books she got. She LOVES books! I hope that means that she will love to read and be really smart! Neither Johnny nor I really like reading all that much so ths could be a good change for our family.

Lexi had two birthday parties this year. She had one at home with Johnny's family and one in Reno with my family. It was so fun to see all the family and to make some fun memories with my mom.

I also had a fun time making her two different cakes. I love Rainbow Brite and hopefully she will make a comeback like the Care Bears.
