Bear Lake
We left Thursday after work. We stopped to meet Hillary and Jarod to pick up Ella!
(She had some separation anxiety, but we convinced her it would be fun)!!
Road trippin'
We were meeting Devin & Emily and Dillon & Mandy there!
Stopped in Evanston for dinner at McDonalds. Loved the saddle chairs!
Driving to Bear Lake... The sunset was so beautiful!!
As we were unpacking food, Devin said he'd pay Sage $5 if she would stand in the ice/ice water for 1 minute. Mission accomplished.
Finally getting the girls ready for bed. We brought different glow stuff for each night.
We put the kids to bed and played a mean game of spoons!
Friday.
The lake is beautiful! The view from the front patio.
The girls were playing UNO as we were waiting to load up the boat!
Finally.. Lake time. I cut out Emily :(
Cam + Mich ❤️
We put Reese to work being the flag girl and pulling in the rope! She had to earn her keep!
Cam trying to wake skate. It's like skateboarding in water. Your feet aren't strapped in. His first time and of course he made it look easy!
Ella and Sage on the tube! (I think I had sunscreen on my camera lens).
Sage liked to go fast, Ella liked to go slow. We had to compromise.
Of course Reese feel asleep. Every time.
She was curled up under the steering wheel!
I'm starting to love driving the boat. And I love just chilling on the boat.
The lake life suits us.
We came in when the wind picked up. We ate lunch and had some quiet time.
Ella and I reading and tanning our booties.
Reese and I playing UNO!
The guys went golfing and us girls hit the pool. I was so proud of Reese. She was all sorts of jumping in the pool. She used to hate it.
Saturday.
Round 2.
Such a pretty lake. The water color is so blue.
Sage jumping in the lake. It was pretty cold water.
Sage surfing with Cam. She's not digging doing it on her own. Hopefully soon.
I could surf for hours. I hate when I have to let other people have their turn. Haha.
A Reesie sandwich.
Making memories is the best part of summer.
Cam ended the day with slalom skiing. He hasn't done it in years. He held his own pretty well.
Until he barrel rolled across the water! Haha.
We went back in for lunch and chill time.
We had a tee time at 5:30. The boys were letting us tag along this time.
The course was so gorgeous.
The other wife's just drove the carts.
I was hesitant to golf with the 3 guys. They're pretty good.
I held my own... Still crappy, but at least I can finally play all 9 and not give up, swear or throw clubs anymore!!
Sage hit a few holes with us too!
Love my little golf babe!
Sunday.
We drove home Sunday to be home in time for a Father's Day BBQ at Cisneros'!
These girls and their dad.
They have him wrapped around their fingers. He'd do anything for them. I love their relationship. They're so blessed to have him and he's so blessed to have them.
We're the luckiest.
We finally got home and got the girls in bed. I went to check on them and found them asleep together.
My heart was full.
