SCENTSY

Have you ever tried Scentsy? If not, DO!!!

I love the scents...... especially fall, winter, christmas, summer, oh heck- I love them all.

They have so many different warmers, and a huge variety of scents, along with room sprays, and car candles.

Anyways, since I love them, I decided to start selling, being a consultant, whatever you call it. So if you are interested in having a party, or just ordering some, let me know. I would love to help.
They also have cute little plug in Scentsy warmers now! Check them out here.

Most Amazingly Talented Husband Award....

Goes to Cam!!!
So we got a new king bed, thanks to Ty and Liza (Cam's brother and his wife). When we put it up, we decided it needed a head board. Liza had mentioned the "built to the wall" ones before, so Cam did a little research, and decided to just build his own. He is very crafty. So we headed to Home Depot, he bought tons and tons of wood. I had a hard time pictureing it in my head, so I just went along with it. He started the next day, and with in two days, I had a beautiful head board. I never imagined it would turn out so nice. He is amazing, and I love it.

This is the beginning....

Putting up the bead board.

His little helper, or maybe she just kept getting in the way. He was using a chisel to get some of the base board out, so of course, she grabbed the smaller one and starting using a pencil to pound the top of the chisel. She is such a copy cat. She couldn't find a hammer like her dads.

About 1/2 done.

Painting.... don't let this fool you. I actually picked up a paint brush and did help a little.

Finished product.

Side view. I love it. He did an awesome job!!

Baby Tag

My friend Heather tagged me, so here it goes............ oh just wait, you're next!!!

The Weekend...

My little sister, Lesli, and little brother, Mike, his wife Shay, and two little kids, Caden and Olivia, came down to visit this weekend. Lesli's husband stayed home to study for a test. We missed Dan. They came Friday night. Les stayed at our house. Mike stayed at Brooke's house. Saturday we went to Andrew's football game. They have a good team. It is full on tackle football for 8-9 year olds. They have actual plays and everything. The coaches even yell. It actually gets very intense. But they killed the other team. Andrew is a great defensive player. I have no idea what he plays. :) Then Jeff, Cam, Mike, and Andrew went to the BYU game. Yes, even Cam went. (He is a mighty Ute fan). We all know how that game went. The girls went shopping while they were gone. We went to the mall with 4 kids in strollers, and Lauren. It was crazy. It was during nap time, and Sage knew it. She was a nightmare. I am sure people thought I was the worst mother letting my kid throw a tantrum in the middle of the mall, but oh well. She was crazy!!! That night we left all the kids with a sitter, and went to dinner, and shopped more. It was nice. We went back to Brooke's, hung out, and played hand and foot. It is a very fun card game. Sunday, we went to Brooke's ward. Her, Mike, and Les sang in sacrament meeting. Once again, Sage was a terror. Church is so hard for us sometimes. She hates sitting there. I could bring the most exciting toy or the yummiest treat in the world, and she would still hate it!!! They all went home after that. It was a fun weekend. I took no pictures to show. Maybe next time. The only thing missing was Megan. How ironic that she was up in Idaho at her Mother-in-law's birthday party. They just flew in for the weekend. We missed her lots. She always adds so much entertainment. So that is that. Sunday was a relaxing day. We took a nap, made cookies, and played golf on the x-box. That is my kind of day. A very fun weekend.

Belle and Sage

Belle goes crazy when she sees other dogs on TV. She can be sound asleep, hear a dog, jump up, and growl, bark, whatever at the TV. It's pretty funny. Well Sage, of course, had to be part of the action, so she jumped right up there too. She was trying to jump with Belle, and kept losing her balance. She is quite the copycat.

Feeding the Ducks

Little Ella. They are seriously about the size of her.

That's Gavin.

That's Morgan.

Brooke and Sage. I think Brooke was more scared than Sage. :)

About a week or so ago, I watched Gavin and Ella (Hillary's kids, my sister-in-law). We went for a pic-nic one day with my sister, Brooke, and her little girl. We went to feed the ducks. We had been there before, and Sage loved it. There are so many ducks, and they definately are not afraid of people. We ran out of bread, so we let the ducks finish off our french fries. We had fun.

9.11.01

I really can't believe it has been 7 years. Time flies. I still remember what I was doing, where I was going, watching the second tower get hit, and then both towers falling to the ground. It was so long ago, but the images, thoughts, and feeling still so vivid. I wonder how those family and friends of loved ones lost are doing? So sad. As Cam hung our flag outside today, I really have such great pride for our country. I am so greatful for those who have died, and those fighting for our country. I am proud to be an American. I hope we never forget 9/11.

Camping over Labor Day

Oh my gosh....... camping only one time this year??? How sad! We love camping. I love camping, which is so funny, because it is such a dirty thing to do, but I love it!! I love the mountains, the trees, the outdoors, the smells, the "chill" in the air. Everything about it is great, except the dirt, but I can get over that. I love the memories I have as a little girl camping with my family. I want Sage to have those same memories.
So we decided to finally go out for Labor Day. Cam's family has some land up by Duchesne. We went up on Friday and came home Sunday. Our friends, Austin and Rachel came along with their boat, so we boated all day Saturday and a little on Sunday. So much fun. Ty and Liza and Colton and Kaylee (his girlfriend) came too.
I am so glad we came home Sunday. Monday was freezing, and I am sure it snowed up there. It did rain a little on Saturday night, but it wasn't too bad. It didn't stop the boys from getting out on the lake Sunday, even if it was only 63 degrees. Way to cold for me!!!
Sage was such a trooper. She is the best little camper. She got a little cold on Friday night, so I put her in my sleeping bag. Yeah, that night I didn't get too much sleep. She did much better on Saturday night. She loves the outdoors. I am so glad.
It was a fun weekend. I dont' know if we will make it out anymore this summer. The nights are getting a little cold. So if we don't, it was a great way to end summer. Thanks again Austin and Rach for bringing the boat. It was tons of fun.
Me and Sage sitting by the fire.

Coton and Kaylee
Sage getting a bath one morning.... She had just eaten a powdered donut, yes while taking a bath, and she was furious about not getting another one.
Ty and Liza cooking and eating breakfast.
I am kind of a mean mom. I really don't like dirty things, so I kept Sage in her stroller 80% of the time. She didn't seem to mind, she likes being clean too.
Cam is a natural at everything he does. This is him doing flip on the wakeboard. We don't even own a boat, and he is amazing.

My cute family on the lake. It was freezing cold, but fun. We were cuddled in a blanket after Cam came in from wakeboarding.

Cam and Sage by the fire.

Austin and Rachel.
I debated whether to do a post about this, but since I use this as a journal, I would like to have this in here. While we were in California, my dad called and informed us that my uncle, Bill Mendenhall, had passed away. He had been diagnosed with cancer years before, and although he fought it long and hard, it took his life on August 21, 2008. He was one of the greatest men I knew. I knew him as "Uncle Billy." He was an incredible father, wife, uncle, church leader, example, etc. He could make you smile or laugh in any situation.
Life is short, and needs to be lived to its fullest. I have been reminded of how I want to live my life: serve others more, be an example, be kind, be prayerful, laugh more, over all, I just want to be a better person. I love Uncle Billy and the person he was. He will be missed.

Cisneros Family Vacation to California.

These pictures are out of order, but to much work to move them. :)

This is from Saturday, eating at the Cheesecake Factory. It was Mel and Hillary's Birthday.
Mel, Cam, Hillary, Jared, Colton, Ty, Liza, and Ruth.

This is at Newport Beach. We stayed at a hotel in New Port.

This is shopping. We found these awesome glasses and had to get a picture. Note to self: Never buy a pair of these glasses.

Disneyland: Colton, Cam, Liza, Ruth, Mel, Hill, and Jared.

Club 33- There is an old fashioned elevator behind us. You ride it up to get to the restaurant.

Cam and I at Club 33. I should have gotten more picutres of the table and decorations. I had never sat at a table with so many plates and so much silverware. I wasn't quite sure what to do!

Club 33- This is the entrance. It is right on the street. If you didn't know about it, you would probally walk right on by. There is no handle on the door. You have to buzz the buzzer in order to get in.

Wow! It has been some time since I have blogged. So much to catch up on!!

I will start with the Cisneros Family Vacation to California. It was great. I have not been to California in a very long time...... since I was about 10. That is forever ago. We went just as "adults." No kids. I always miss Sage, but it is a nice break too. We left her with Brooke's Family. I always know she is in good hands there. Thanks again Brooke for watching her. I know she loves being with you guys.

So we got there on Thursday, August 21, shopped and hung out.
Friday we went to Disney Land and California Adventure. WOW! I felt like I was a little kid again. What is it about that magical place? I love it there. I love the rides, the food, everything.!! I had not been on a lot of the rides, like the Matterhorn, Indiana Jones, etc. So that was very exciting. We also went to California Adventure. That was a blast too. We were there all day!! We left after the fireworks were over. It was a great day. I missed Sage being there with me, it makes me so excited to take her there. One of the best parts about Disney Land was CLUB 33. I never knew what it was until I joined Cam's family. It is this place/restaurant in Disney Land, that only members can get you into. Luckily, Mel had connections, so we were able to go.
It was such good food and service. The best parts were the dessert. It was all you can eat!!! My favorite. This is a website about Club 33. http://www.disneylandclub33.com/
Saturday was Hill and Mel's Birthday. We mostly hung out at the pool, which was very relaxing. That night we ate at The Cheesecake Factory.
Sunday we hung out at the pool again, yes, we all wanted to come back with a tan. We shopped, and the guys golfed. We ate at P.F. Chang's.
Monday we came home.
It was a very nice and relaxing vacation. We had so much fun, and had many laughs. I am lucky to have such great in-laws.
Thanks again Mel and Ruth for a fun vacation.
