weekly update

this kid seriously cracks me up.

we were out running errands....

he screams and cries until emi hands over the princess book.

it's actually a book on CD, the hole is where the CD goes.

emi said: ahh! i wish i thought of that.

and then they laughed the whole way home taking turns.

since this picture he balances the book on his head.

the kids lover homemade bean burritos

but man! they are messy. well makai's is anyways.

and i never understand why i forget to put a bib on him.

if something is sticky i will but never messy stuff.

oh my goodness. this little turd.

she is laughing at the outfit she has on. kidding.

she wouldn't smile...this was her smart-alec (made up word) face.

lately she just wants her hair down...in her face.

and she picks out the weirdest outfits.

currently she has the most mismatched outfit laid out on her bed for school.

i'll make sure to get a picture.

i should just wear a sign that says: i pick my battles...and this isn't one.

makai has mastered the fork and plate, as in he doesn't dump his plate.

he does when he is done but not while eating.

well recently when he can't get the food with his fork

he won't use his hands...but eats like an animal.

i need to get a better picture. 

as well as one without his sister's old binkie.

russell and kailey got him the cutest bow ties!

can't wait to get him some suspenders and a sweater.

i wanted to part his hair down the middle. 

but i thought that would be too much.

goodness! this happens....basically anytime emi wears a dress.

at first i thought he was going for her underwear.

but he loves belly buttons....or exposed skin.

he was lifting her dress while she sat.

so she stood to get away from him, it didn't work.

wish this picture was clear but i also like it blurry.

just licking as much ranch as he could off his plate.

he hasn't done this in public yet.

i guess that is when i'll put a stop to it, for now it is just so funny to watch.

cub scouts....i think i'd rather have a sunday calling.

or maybe it would be more enjoyable if i had a son in cub scouts.

another pack in our stake was having an geologist come

so we invited ourselves, the nice thing about only having 3 boys.

these two silly kids. annoying but cute i guess.

makai pulls on me while i am preparing anything in the kitchen.

i usually just ignore him or squat down to give him a hug.

i think emi was feeling ignored, so she laid down in front of me.

so then makai laid next to her, not wanting to be out done i suppose.

miss emi in her favorite crown!!

she seriously loves it so much. she is no longer a princess.

 when wearing the crown she likes to be addressed as the queen.
