this past week has been a little crazy.
some weeks we have nothing going on and other weeks
we have something going on every single day.
this picture below was actually suppose to go on the last weekly update
but was on eddie's phone and i didn't get it until after the fact.
not sure what they were watching, i'm sure disney junior

i was working on the computer one afternoon and things got quite.
so i got up and walked around the corner.
and stumbled upon this cute scene.
makai is starting to look at books a little more.
i can't wait until emi can read to him.
oh my goodness! we are in birthday mode over here.
she made me sit down one afternoon so i could write down the 'plans'.
good thing she doesn't know what i really wrote.
she went all into detail, it was crazy.
thing is, eddie and i don't even want to throw a party.
luckily we still have a couple months to think of an excuse.
her special outfit she had laid out for 3 days for school.
and my cutie boy makai finally stopped and posed for a picture.
the day before i asked emi to take a nap cause she was crabby.
she always refuses, so i knew it was a long shot.
so i bribed her with going to buy buy baby...so she could ride the scooter.
she decided she just wanted to do quite time
which does not equal a nap.
well when i went and checked in on her, she was asleep!
what?! first thing she said when she woke up.
so when are we going to buy buy baby?
i brushed her off with: maybe after school tomorrow.
too bad she held me to it! she got in the car and before i could
ask how school was she said:
woohoo! we get to go to buy buy baby!!
we found elmo and makai showed off his new smile.
we thought emi woke up at the butt crack of dawn!
holy cannoli! luckily eddie goes and gets him.
since it takes me like 2 hours to fully wake up.
kidding!! but it feels like that when you only go to bed 6 hours earlier.
i seriously need to learn to go to bed before midnight.
it's not like i do anything productive like, work out or make something.
gma gave emi a "disco ball" ring as emi calls it.
she went to bed with it and when i checked on her hours later
the ring was still going strong!
i didn't know how to turn it off, i figured it would go off by itself.
well in the morning, it was still in 'disco mode'.
i asked emi if she knew how to turn it off....i guess you push it again.
i swear i tried that and it didn't work, that's why i assumed it turned itself off.
so she turned it off finally.
the good part about it, hopefully it used most of it's battery. kidding. sort of.
this boy! for some reason he has been waking up multiple times
at night between 9-11, it's driving me nuts.
and his cries are more like screams.
screaming as if his arm just got chopped off or something.
and usually he is just sitting up, rubbing his eyes.....with his binkie in!
tanner's birthday was last wednesday.
but he had school and a wrestling tournament.
so we moved his unofficial b-day to sunday.
emi insisted on wearing her crown and heels over.
and she performed her 'let it go' routine for tanner.
emi picked out a purple frosting for the cake.
which is good since tanner likes purple.
emi explained his favorite color is purple cause his backpack is purple.
it was delicious and i wish i would have taken home the left overs. ha!
i was able to observe emi and her class for an hour
they ask each parent to do that sometime during the school year.
the boy on her right is her best pal mason.
mason asked if she had a boyfriend...in which she said yes!
she calls hayden her boy friend...her best boy friend.
all emi talks about is mason, and mason's mom only hears about emi.
her teacher even asked if we hear all about mason.
cause mason and emi play together...cause they have super powers.
mason is the reason emi started writing some letters backwards
and emi is the reason mason is trying to be left handed
when he is right handed!
amazing how much influence goes on in preschool.
i love this picture of emi.
she connected all these to make a necklace.
shortly after this picture i was asked to put my cell phone away. boo!
seriously the only time he is still.
i gave him a hair cut and it turned out ok...but a little funny looking.
he has no curl to his hair...yet it's a little bushy.
this picture was before the hair cut.
emi wanted a mustache...so of course makai wanted on.
i wish i would have recorded when makai saw himself in the mirror
one he tried to eat himself....then he laughed so hard.
eventually emi grew a beard.
his haircut all styled.
his hair doesn't really want to go up...
nor does it want to go in a fo-hawk.
i used eddie's cement hair crap, so it stayed up
but if use anything else with less strength it goes flat.
my project of the week.
the "craft closet" or as eddie calls it the "coat closet"
i gave his one coat the boot! and put it on my side of the closet.
after so many random projects and rushing to clean up
it got a little out of hand. this is the sole reason i don't make time to craft.
i hate cleaning up and wish i had a door to close the mess in.
i wish i could buy one of these bikes.
they are the perfect size for makai.
but no...they stay chained up and no one uses them.
we watch the 'let it go' music video, no less than 15 times day.
ok maybe 10...but still...too many times.
and each time she copies everything elsa does.
i wish i had some jeans that looked and fitted me like that.
emi rolls her own pants...she hats anything that touches past her ankle.
it was that time again for dentist check ups.
proud to say she is still cavity free!
and they want to see makai next time since he has a mouthful of teeth.
makai spent the entire appt trying to climb the two with signs
that say, no climbing. he rode the penguin like a horse.
little stinker!
it's that time of year again.
we had weigh ins and the derby this week.
one of the kids had too much weight and after drilling holes in it
sanding his paint job off...and crying his eyes out.
we suggested he go home and fix it, repaint it...dry his tears
and just come early and re-weigh in the day of derby.
he ended up winning first place!!
eddie stays in with emi after our bedtime routine.
after an hour i was like what the heck is going on?
i went in to find this.
i am sure i would have had the bed to myself if i didn't wake him up.
just snacking on some apples.
i seriously go through 2 apples (one for emi) and 2 bananas a day for him.
i'm sure if we had more fruit he would eat that too.
i asked emi to help with dinner.
i knew this would happen. he wanted to help too.
instead he ate 3 raw string beans in the time it took her to cut all of them.
he cried like no other when i pulled him off the chair
when they were all done 'helping'.
emi asked for a spoonful of peanut butter for a snack.
that is one huge spoonful!
no wonder we run out of food so fast. they have hollow legs.
emi is all ready for share day at school.
she has been patiently waiting to share her new crown.
she asked me to put it in a baggie so it wouldn't catch germs. ha!
