Shout out to Gma!!

Happy Birthday Grandma Randall!!

Today is gma's (short for grandma) 84th birthday. We are going to the Olive Garden for dinner, her favorite place to eat. It will be a surprise, she doesn't know that some of her grandkids are coming. She is such a special lady to me and I hope she has a wonderful birthday!! Love you Gma!!

**Update**

Gma was so surprised and loved that everyone could make it! Here are a few photos from tonight.

Here is the gang who came to celebrate!!Grandma and Grandpa

Ashley made that sweet corsage (sp?) for gma's birthday. She is taking a floral design class at BYU . Looks just like a professional one.
Brynn and Halle (Justin and Aislinn's girls)
Overall we had a great night and gma really enjoyed her birthday dinner.

Flag Football

Eddie had a flag football game on Friday night. Eddie made some great plays and dives for the flags but I didn't have the camera ready. The only shot I got was at the beginning of the game when it was still light outside and hadn't dropped below freezing yet....ok, ok it wasn't freezing but it was very cold!

I can't say they won but something interesting happen during the game. Some guy lost his contact, but is wasn't any "normal" daily wearing contact. The guy had some eye disease and it was going to cost him like $200 to replace it. That stinks especially being a young married student, aka poor married student. I had to get a picture of it. Only at BYU would you see guys from both teams helping look for it.

What the heck is that!?!

I am on my way to work this morning and all of a sudden I pass this mini circus looking car. I seriously laughed out loud and had to slow down for the circus car to pass me so I could get a picture of it (Yes, mom I had one eye on the road driving safely). I guess it is called the smart car and gets great gas mileage. I thnk it is kind of cool and I bet it is so easy to park. In case you have never seen one, now you have.

Oh man... my legs hurt!!

In effort to lose some weight, I have started doing the Biggest Loser workout. It is a tough workout but surprisingly I have actually enjoyed it. Lots of squats and lunges, my favorite! :( I am only on day three of a six week workout plan, so things may change :) . I would have taken some pictures of me working out but, one I wake up at 5 a.m. to workout and I look half asleep (maybe cause I am) and two, I'm pretty sure no one would want to see what I work out in... my P.J.'s!?! I am hoping that by making my new six week workout plan "public" I will actually stick to it. I might even tell you in the future if I have lost anything. Or gained... come on people, it is peppermint ice cream season.

8th grade memories...

Today in my anatomy lab we dissected a cow eyeballs, pretty much I preformed lasik surgery on it. I sat there looking at it and all of a sudden I got a flash back to Ms. Neilson's 8th grade science class. We dissected a cow eyeball and I just sat there while this eyeball stared at me with eyelashes still attached. I swear that the cow's eyeball winked at me and no one else's had eyelashes on their cow eyeball!! It was starting to freak me out so I finally decided to ask Ms. Neilson if I could trade and she said, "No, no one gets to trade!!", yelling to the whole class. Needless to say, I had no choice today. I had to take the whole eye apart and try to memorize the eye inside and out. Good thing I didn't eat dinner before class!!

A day at Lavell Edwards Stadium

One of the highlights of attending BYU is being able to go to the football games. One of our favorite things about the game is the pre-game Haka.

Eddie's brother Russell came to visit from BYU-I and attended the football game with us.

Our First Post ...

We finally decided to start a blog so our friends and family can see what we are up to. We don't have much to 'blog' about but we will try to post something every once in a while . Check back often and feel free to leave comments.
