Lil'G's Requested Park Day!

Don't ya love it when the little's request something, and something so certain? Well, that was Lil'G, he was dead set on going to the park this day and having a picnic too! Someone special even took the day off of work to join us in the fun!

One of the first things Lil'G does at the park is go straight for the sandbox! He loves it!

Who's this babe? Oh, yeah, he lives at MY House! I'll take him! Thanks Brandon for coming with us on this wonderful day!

And who doesn't love a motorcycle ride with the sidecar for friends! Always a favorite at our favorite park too- Brody Park, or the "Bus Park" per Lil'G!

Look what an amazing beautiful day it was too!!
Looking forward to the warmer weather and sunshine for sure!

Lego Family Event

The tykes schools PTO sponsored a "Lego Family Night!" And boy was Miss P sooo excited that she got her ticket called in the raffle for a Free Lego Set!!1 Even better was that hers was the last ticket called and the last Lego set was a girl set! Miss P had her eye on that set all night long too!! Good Karma I say!

Our family is taking care of "Flat Rhace" who is visiting us from Utah. It is our cousin Rhaces' so we take him along with us for fun!

Two of the Biggies that helped put it together- Mrs. Rego who got the grant and also hold after school Lego Clubs and the MC for the evening was Mrs. Christensen! Thanks ladies for a great event and to all the other behind the scene help too!
It was a very successful event and hopefully look forward to another on!

Sunday Thoughts

I have the privilege of teaching the women at my church, it's called the Relief Society. Today we had a meeting before hand about teaching with the spirit and wanted to share some thoughts that I was touched by.

-The Holy Ghost teaches in a personal way.
-We are teaching people, not the lesson. Teach what they need, not every part of the lesson.
-Be prepared! Stand next to the Holy Ghost, not in front of or behind.
-Help the sisters "Come unto Christ." Challenge them!

I just really liked the part of stand next to the Holy Ghost, not in front or behind him. Meaning let him help you teach, meet each other. Don't be behind him by not being prepared and not in front of him that you don't listen to what he has to say.

*Any thoughts or inspiration you heard this past week?*

Daddy-Daughter Dance 2012

I just heart these 2! So fun to watch them get all dressed up and have a great date night! Daddy and daughter! Miss P sooo looks forward to this each year! I think this may be their 4th year going. They met some friends and went out to dinner and then to the dance to dance the night away! Miss P was thrilled to get her picture taken with dad, make a frame for the picture, get her face painted, have a few treats, boogie, and also won a door prize! She was in heaven to say the least!
Glad you 2 enjoyed your night!
