Family Night

In our church, the leaders have asked to set aside Monday night for family night. At our house, every night seems like famliy night since we do alot together. Here is H making smores over the stove with dad's help.
P with her messy smore. Remember she isn't into posing for photos lately, so I take what I can get!
H and daddy have a smore, minus the chocolate. H doesn't like chocolate. Who's kid is this??? Note we were at the store today and spotted PINK-Strawberry flavored marshmellows. P was all over it. Since she loves both pink and marshmellows, what more could a little girl ask for...

What kind of soda are you?

Mmmmm.... I didn't know what to think. I used to be addicted to Dr. Pepper way back when- like in high school. Now I do enjoy Diet Caffiene-Free Pepsi or Coke. But I guess the soda and I matched up cause I do think of myself as both unique and funky- at times!
You Are Dr. Pepper

You're very unique and funky, yet you still have a bit of traditionalism to you.
People who like you think they have great taste... and they usually do.

Your best soda match: Root Beer

Stay away from: 7 Up

I figured it out!!!!!

Ok- so I figured it out wih the help of my loving husband. The song is called Major Tom by Peter Schilling. Now my only problem is that i-tunes doesn't carry the original song, but I could get it in German or like dance form, but no. I would definately prefer it in the original form. So I looked at posts on i-tunes and there were some angry customers about the song. They said that Wal-Mart didn't carry it on their downloads either. So basically you have to buy the whole album to get the song. If anyone knows where to find the song on-line or has the cd and would let me borrow- it would be awesome. And if you haven't heard the song before, you should.
I think I need to go to bed now.

Help!!!!!

Ok blogger friends- I am in need of some help. I am trying to download a song on the i-pod and don't remember the name of the band, so in comes you- I am going to write some of the lyrics here and you help out by posting the name of the band or the song title- pretty, pretty please, with sugar on top, of course!!! Much thanks to whomever can figure it out for me!
Here goes-
Earth below us drifting, falling, floating, weightless, falling, coming home---- home------
Do any of you remember???? It's a song from the 80's.
Oh please help me remember- I need this tune badly!!!!!!

8- We've moved across the country together and survived
9- I am pretty darn proud of us

Sunday Sunday, Nah, nah, nah-nah-na

H-P-Mudslide before church. I thought the tykes looked cute cause they matched today. P wasn't in the mood to get her photo taken, she has been like that alot lately, not good for me. Daddy had to bribe her to smile by saying he would make a dessert for after dinner today. So here's how it looked- it was the best I was going to get. Gotta love kids! They make you smile atleast once a day, right! Oh, and B got off the hook with the dessert. Eating at the in-laws and we found some pies in the freezer already made, but they were good- can't pass up chocolate pie!

Birthday Parties!

H playing a game of dodgeball.
P getting in on the action too!
What a fun birthday party this was. It was at The Sports Domain and an employee takes care of the party. The kids were in a large gym room and got to play tons of games which got out alot of energy. A great place cause it's indoors, so if the weather is not good, not a problem. I really enjoyed watching my tykes cruise around the gym in excitement!

My First Trip to Boston

Doesn't this look like Cody from Surf's Up? I haven't even seen the movie yet, but want too and especially after visiting the Boston Aquarium. That place is awesome!!! I highly recommend it. They have tons of penguins that they are nursing back to health from oil spills which is really sad. These things were sooo much fun to watch, kindof like watching fish in an aquarium, just peaceful and I was wondering what they were thinking about or saying.
They have this huge aquarium that is like 3 stories high. This would be one of the sharks we saw- SCARY!
Sea Turtles! I adore turtles. We even got to see it eat. And guess what it loved to eat- Brussel Sprouts. I knew I liked turtles for some reason!
My sis and I outside the aquarium. We had a nice day with a little breeze from the ocean. We also cruised the harbor and went to Quincy Market. So much fun and can't wait to go back. I have convinced my husband to take a weekend trip there with the kids this summer!!!! Boston- here we come again!!!!!

Here is B-H-P getting their toes tickled in the Farmington River. We took a little walk on the bikepath in Canton to show Aunt Jamie some of the eastern beauty.
This would be Aunt Jamie aka "My Sister" I am sooooo glad she was able to come out early for a few days and see a little bit of my world here in Connecticut. We had a great few days together. Thanks for a fun visit!!!
What I LOVE about my sis:
She was a great sharer when we were growing up.
She amazes me with all she does.
She never forgets our birthdays and holidays.
We always make each other laugh- and boy can we laugh that we cry!!!
She is someone I look up too
She is always willing to help me out.
I so look forward to her e-mails and phone calls
If I could live by her I would!!!
I love you Jamie and please come visit us again!!!!

Dog-Sitting

We got to dog-sit for G&G Bayley while they attended Youth Conference in New York over the weekend. Here is Mudslide (our dog) with her BFF Molly (G&G's dog). These 2 used to not get along and they still have their moments if there is a bone involved or one is having a bad day. Other than that they really are BFFs!
Here is a deer we caught in grandma's backyard finding things to nibble on. It did look quite skinny. I was a little worried since I didn't know where Molly was, thank goodness they didn't see each other! It was fun to watch with the kids!
We invited some friends over for a bbq/swim pool party. It was fun. Here are all the tikes watching the fireworks we lit.
Olivia, Clara, Madelyn, Piper, Hobie, and Baby Alex.
Fireworks!!! Yeah- We love the 4th of July!!!

*Do you have a favorite holiday too??*
