Beau Young-

Last year I scored a cute little wooden elephant and Wild Anamalz cd for Baby G and I just have to say how much we love the toy and the cd.
So I would like to give a shout out to Beau Young who sings on the cd, he was a professional surfer, then retired after winning the championship twice to work on writing and producing music.
You can check out the anamalz website at www.anamalz.com, it won't disappoint!!

Treasure-

One Man's Trash, Is Another Man's Treasure! Love this find dad found and brought home for Baby G to enjoy, although, I am just not sure who is enjoying it more? This little one or....
This other little bigger one! You decide!
Yes, we did some of our own decorating on it, since all the old stickers had worn off, plus it is a girl big wheel. Out come my pack o'kid stickers to plaster to my hearts content, till Baby G decided he should peel a few off. Guess he wasn't a fan of The Count and Nemo!

MLK Day!

We headed to the Yale Peabody Museum on H's account. A friend of his said it was cool! Since last year, I have found a love of owls! I was quite excited to see this display of owls! Sorry for the flash.
Baby G and dad checking out the big polar bear. Lots of animals to see!
Awesome dinosaur bone displays too!
My 3 tykes! The museum was 3 floors, and did not disappoint. Thanks for the fun recommendation, H! It was a busy day there since it was MLK Day and free admission too!
We got to eat at Red Lobster- my fave afterwords! Thanks again fam for a fun day out!

Don't Ever Want to Forget!

Baby G-
You are 17 months now and bring so much joy into our family! It's been a few years since we've had a baby in the home and a baby by itself no less, since your older brother and sister are only a year a part- they are like "Irish Twins." It was a very busy time for mom.
It has been great to have a little more relaxed time with you and there are so many things that I don't ever want to forget about you at this time. I need to document, so here goes-

-you are a dancin' fool. you love to turn the radio on and just dance!
-you love to make music too!
-love to play peek-a-boo
-you are my dumpster diver
-make laps around the couch like your sister- usually hauling or pushing something
-you know how to sign the words- all done, more, and thank you
-you love to take care of one of Miss P's baby dolls. pushing it around in a stroller, feeding her, and putting her binky in
-when it's time for bed or you are ready for bed you are blowing kisses to everyone
-love the way you toddle away from me when i need to get some foreign object out of your mouth- you remind me of E.T. with the way you hold your little fingers out
-love how boys always know to make car/motorcycle sounds when playing
-like how you get up on the stool in the kitchen to see what I am doing
-you are a great helper of pushing your highchair back in its place and helping me vacuum. you would be the first not to be afraid of it.
-such a fun phase to watch you toddle, fall, get up, and toddle again to do what your doing. like you never give up!
-love hearing the compliments you get from people about your blue eyes and how cute you are! (I did get that with each of my kiddos!)
-love the way you smack your lips when you are done nursing at night and will let me hold and snuggle you for a while
-you love to watch The Wiggles and dance along with them, especially Wiggley Safari!
-you are a button pusher for sure
-you sing along with Elmo's World
I LOVE YOU BABY G!
heart- mom

Disney Princesses on Ice!

Since Dad and H had a day date, Miss P and I had a GNO to see Disney on Ice.
Here is Ariel and the Octopus lady! They were all amazing! (you may have to click to enlarge the pix to see better.)
Cinderella's Fairy Godmother floating from the sky.
Cinderella on her way to the ball in her carriage!
Miss P was mostly excited about getting a prize. Plus she dress for the occasion too! It was a hard pick when you have more than one princess dress to wear! And if you were without a dress-up dress, you were the odd one out there!
Miss P, I sure enjoyed my GNO with you and look forward to more! Thanks for bringing back memories for me too, of seeing Disney on Ice when I was young.
It was a night to remember!

Bear Mountain- In the Snow

Brandon, Big H, and our friend Gail braved the cold, but sunny day to climb Bear Mountain.
Here is H showing off!
Trekking along, poles and all! These 3 were troopers! You notice I wasn't there!
H and Gail at the top! They made it!!!
Dad and H- great pose guys! They even brought a small burner up to make hot cocoa and cider.
They returned all smiles, worn out,and some soreness. You guys rock!

Who's Your Daddy?

Brandon got to attend the youth dance for our church on New Years Day! All the adults were suppose to dress as Villains and the youth as Superheros.
Well, Yes, that is my daddy!!! In his best villain costume! He wins my point since he was the only adult who dressed up!
You rock babe!!! Heart the do, the facial hair, and the look!
