Hello MAY!

The best part of May at our house is that there are a couple of special days that are just lots of fun! One is Mother's day and the other is Clayton's birthday. There is not a more entertaining, rewarding nor important job than being a mother. I love my boys and look forward to Mother's Day every year.  I'm a lucky mom and Richard and I are very thankful for our own mothers as well. I would be lost with out mine for sure:) Clayton's birthday will always be a highlight of the month for a lot of reasons, but we always have a ball in the month of May. Enjoy the pictures, even though I am missing a few events:)

My little men...

With Grandma Phillips

The crew with Grandma Phillips

With Grandma Pay

The crew with Grandma Pay

And of course we have Baseball games...

and ducks to take care of. They are a little bigger here than the last picture of them

And then we had a little boys birthday!!
We can't believe that he is 3 already!! What a party and fun day we had.
Opening gifts

Blowing out candles

His "tractor cake"

And of course Richard had one of his fun science toys from school so we spent the afternoon shooting paper rockets and pop bottles on the back lawn. The kids all had a fun time and we even watched to eclipse take place, (thanks to my dad's camera and some special sunglasses) What a day!!

I made his cake this year and I guess it looked enough like a tractor to pass because he seemed happy with it!

The pinata

And then all the kids loaded up to take a ride in the jeep.
They actually rode over to look at the eclipse through a big telescope at the school and then came back,
but they all had a great time

Then on to high school graduation....
It is always kind of a bitter sweet day, but we are proud of all these special kids!

Look at all those girls!

Their buddy...

one of their favs

And it wouldn't be spring/summer without a ride on grandpa's 4 wheeler
Duncan drove all the way up from the barn, I think they are spoiled...

Then on the summer vacation and summer school.
Richard taught summer school this year and so Duncan got to go on the fun field trips with them.
This day they were looking for fossils

And then there is more baseball...

He really enjoyed baseball this year

"Coach, coach, coach! "  We had quite a fun little team

All business

A hit and off he goes!

I love watching him enjoy a game that I enjoy so much. He is quite the little man

On third, getting ready to run for home on a hit and then watch the next two pictures to see the results:)

We're off...

And SAFE at home....
This kid has a better "pete rose" than me! He slid into home like this nearly every time he'd cross the plate!

We had a fun, busy month of May and welcome the summer break!

I love those little boys! They are as handsome as little boys could be! They definitely have a wonderful life and the best mother and grandmothers ever! Each picture I pull up, I just laugh because they are so darned cute. I love to see what is going on in your lives and see those cute little faces.
