Duncan's Baptism

The other half of June was just as fun and crazy with Duncan's actual birthday and his baptism, yes I said baptism- Hard to believe that he is 8 yrs old. Here are some pictures from his big day.
Thank you to all of our friends and family that came and supported him, sent cards, made phone calls, and are a part of his life. He's a lucky kid to have such neat support from so many.

Opening his presents from us in the morning...

Then after a day of getting ready, we were all dressed and ready to go!!

We had dinner in the gym following the baptism and what a lucky little boy he is- We had lots of friends and family support him on his special day. It was a wonderful evening.

One of his favorite basketball girls...

He was spoiled rotten, but he especially loved this horse halter that my cousin and her husband gave to him.
That is what you call a personal gift:)

Another favorite basketball girl

and these two are like his big brother and sister, or something like that:)

Aunt Dana & Uncle Val

Then we had cake!!!

of course we had to have one of these...

and he loved every minute of it!

then we opened presents

and more pictures with Aunts and cousins
Uncle Jeff

The White family and his new Louisville Slugger from them:)

Uncle Stephen, Aunt Allison and Kaitlyn

Aunt Sandy and Linda and Zane!

Aunt Karen

His favorite Joni

Uncle Jim, David and Logan

The Pay family

The Aagard family

And our family!!  We had such a special day. We were so lucky to have a wonderful Bishop that allowed us to have Duncan's baptism on his actual birthday and it was such a special day. We are lucky to be his parents and he is lucky to be loved by so many people. What a wonderful, special and neat day.
We are so proud of him for his decision to be baptized!

My boys in white! The look on Duncan's face after he came out of the water was priceless and left the entire room with smiles on their faces.

Our little man!

On Sunday afternoon we actually ate his cake and had ice cream

Blowing out the candles...

Our birthday boy
It is hard to believe that 8 years ago he came into this world a little early, well a lot early, and everyday for the first
2 1/2 months of his life he fought every day to live.
You would never know it now to watch him run down the soccer or football field and play or ride his bike, the horse, his 4 wheeler or a tractor but we will forever be grateful to our loving father in heaven that watched over and blessed this special little boy so much, more than we will ever know.
the classic "dollar bill" picture
        and the wedding ring picture-
Yes, that is his Uncle Jim's wedding ring on his arm:)
And our little miracle man once more

Here are a couple of "now and then" pictures. The then are from his blessing day. It doesn't seem that long ago, but he will never know how what a miracle he is to us. And he doesn't know it yet, but he will always be our baby boy:)

What a special little guy we think he is and he is such a joy to watch grow and learn. We love him to pieces and feel blessed to be able to be his parents.

Happy Birthday big boy!! We love you lots!

The whole family was the closing number for the night,

And 5 cute little boys...

Then we celebrated Duncan's 8th birthday a week early-  He and Alex are taking the first spin in the new tube that we gave Richard for father's day (that was an early gift too:)
He wanted to go to Mona Res. for his birthday and take everyone boating and have a BBQ

Clayton & I trying out the new tube

Grandpa and Grandma Pay even took a ride

Then Richard and his mom took a "wild" ride

The kids enjoyed playing and splashing

The whole bunch!

Uncle Jim brought his boat too and so all the kids piled in it and went for a ride too

We then celebrated Grandma Phillips' birthday

We had a great party and all her little boys think she is pretty ok...

Then came father's day
Grandma & Grandpa with the grandkids

We had brunch at Jim & Shurron's house and had way too much food to eat:)
We are all lucky to have such good "dads" in our lives

Our Dad with his boys and his new father's day hat and tie

We stopped by Grandpa Pay's

and stopped by Grandpa Phillips'

My boys love my parents and I am so lucky that they can
just run down the sidewalk, literally to go see Grandma or Grandpa.  We had a great first half of June
