I haven't studied in the library at all this semester until now. And I just realized why. It is more distracting sitting here eavesdropping on random whispers rather than sitting in my room listening to music, I am hungry and I don't have my wonderful cupboard a few strides away...so sad, and it's COLD IN HERE!
It is official, the BYU Library is for a select few. Luckily I'm not one of them! I can't take it! Only 2 more hours and I'll take my Marketing Midterm and go to my cozy home; food cupboard and all.
Let's hope that this midterm is gracious to me and I don't fail.

Arches National Park
This Presidents' Day weekend I went to Moab to see Arches National Park. It is amazing! If you are here in Utah, you really have to go. Thanks to Jeff for planning this little trip! I'm so glad I went! Seriously, it is beautiful and I am still awed by the Delicate Arch. How does something like that happen?! Standing underneath it was a little scary. It was HUGE! I never thought about how massive it would be and I admit I was a little scared to pose underneath the arch.
We left Provo at 6:15 am and got home at 10:00pm. It was fabulous! We hiked all day at the park and had a great time.
These are the arches we went and saw:
-First we saw Landscape Arch, it is really crazy that it is still standing today, it looks like it could fall any day now. You can see our group standing in front of the Landscape Arch in the second collage. While walking up to the arch I got some commentary by Jeff on digital film. Very fun!
-Our second stop was the Double "O" Arch. This was my second favorite. I mean I even got to stand on the TOP! It was SAAAAWEEEET! The bottom collage shows Jeff and I jumping on the arch. I'm not sure how legal that was, but there were no signs otherwise. :) If you look at the first collage, you can see the 2 arches, which make it the Double "O".
-Our third stop (and I may be out of order) was the Navajo Arch. If you look at the first collage you will see me standing underneath it. And I am posing by the sign...
This arch was pretty cool because it opened up to a little cove. Inside the cove was a beautiful tree, I'm not sure what kind, but it was picturesque.
-Our last and final arch was none other than the Delicate Arch. The hike to it was even great because of all the colors. There were greens, reds, browns, and blues everywhere. The sky was clearing up from being cloudy all day. When you first see the Delicate Arch it is amazing. You are walking along a cliffside for a ways and then you turn a corner and there it is, just right there! There isn't anything like it.
***OH and in the very right corner of this collage below, is Balanced Rock. I dunno how it works, but it is perfectly balanced...mother nature is sooooooooo crazy!

V-Day Happenings
This Valentine's Day, I get to spend it working at the Bookstore!!!!! No really this is not that bad. I will be at the slowest register in the entire store for 8 hours and most likely reading the whole time. JOY!!!! Haha, okay so I'm being a little sarcastic. I do wish I could be where Aubs and Kristi are right now, playing in the Idaho snow, driving around on snowmobiles, and sleeping in a toasty cabin. Ah the relaxation....maybe next year I'll actually have a man to spend the holiday with or I'll splurge on a fabulous vacation.
I hope you and everyone else will and is having a splendid, romantic, or as my roommates call it rotic (romantic without the "man") Valentine's Day!
In other news, this last Wednesday a large group in my ward went snowshoeing up Rock Canyon and it was a blast. We hiked for about 1.5 miles in, and had a fire and hot cider. Our fire pit was right by this tiny cave. It didn't go in to far, but it had a few tunnels with dead ends. It was fun and our Bishop came which is really awesome. I might be biased, but I do believe I have the best Bishop ever. We have some great leadership in our ward and I have really enjoyed my ward this year. Here are some pictures from the hike!

I got a sweet little valentine from Halle. She got me a beautiful glittery temporary tattoo. Probably the best surprise in the mail I have had in a loooong time! Thanks Halle bug!

Inside the cave and outside drinking hot cider by our teeny tiney fire! And Jason is really excited!
I liked this picture. I was testing my camera out in the dark and got this! A bit eerie.
Also last Friday, Heidi and her kids came down for the afternoon to visit. We went to the Legacy Center in Lehi and went swimming in their HUGE kiddie pool. This thing was very large! And they even had this big bucket that was hanging from the ceiling that would fill with LOTS of water and tip over making a very LOUD noise. It scared William multiple times. I was even scared! It made such a loud noise! I'm not a fan of loud noises. We had a fun time at the pool and it was fun to be with Heidi. After the pool we met up with Jeff, Blake, Sheena, Jared, and Stacie for dinner for Jeff's birthday. I love it when we are all together, it's a blast everytime!
I got some pictures of the kids at the pool and some funny footage of Cole twirling around like a ballerina. I wish I knew how to put music to my videos because I'd really like to put some classical music with that video. It's hilarious!
