Cole has decided that from here on out, Dad's should not be allowed to work on Father's Day. In his words 'It's just not fair we can't spend the day with him. He is our Dad!'

Bet you can't guess what we've watched a couple times...

While watching a few bunnies, tons of squirrels (chipmunks or whatever they're called) and lots of birds this morning.... Cole 'how much did we have to pay for this great view?' Me 'luckily it came with the house!' I guess you can say they are enjoying it

She's trying to see out by standing on a stool with a pair of her shoes on as well as her daddy's shoes...just didn't quite work. She's, not so patiently, waiting for her daddy to come him after working 11 hours at the Smith Center and then going straight to help with valet at a EDC. We so appreciate our hardworking man! So glad he's on his way home :)

Up early with ear pain :( 

Inner and outer ear infection. She's a trooper! Antibiotic and ear drops...on her way to feeling better!

Such a pretty sleeper! Still not feeling great, hoping tomorrow is better!

Update on Delaney's ear...we went to the ENT and she still have a tube in from when she was 2 1/2. Luckily it was just sitting there, so the ENT went in and pulled it out. Checked her ears, and her hearing, all is well and she should be good!

This 11 year old boy amazes me! Today we had a heart to heart over some things that have been weighing heavily on his mind. I feel privileged that he trusts me enough to open up to me. I pretty much love him :)

Luckily it wasn't anything hard to work through (asking for video games, being the oldest). But I'm glad he knows he can come to me. And I hope it continues for many years to come!!!

This boy is lucky he's handsome! He's been waking up multiple times the last 2 nights (like a newborn) walking around, crying, and soaked from sweat. We have NO clue why and when he wakes up the next morning he doesn't ever remember getting up, or what he was dreaming about. I'm hopeful tonight we can sleep through the night!

Luckily he has only done it a time or two since. Hopefully we are done with it!

Nothing better than snuggling babies...even when they are 5 years old!

Jeff bought a dragon fruit for us to try, and Kahle is the only one that came back for more. I think it's safe to say it's not our favorite...

As I laid beside this sweet face while he fell asleep, since it was after 11pm...I was reminded how little he still was! He's ONLY 5! I seem to expect more from him, so I needed this sweet reminder.

Me - 'You mean your knuckle?'

What we've been up to....

So I need to get back to blogging regularly. I feel like this summer has gone by so quickly and I have hardly documented it! We've kept busy but with what I am not sure. I mean we've gone and done things, we've had fun, but it just hasn't been the summer I planned in my head. Oh well, we've still have a couple of weeks to enjoy it!

So here is some of what we've been up to....

We've enjoyed making pizzas! It's happened a couple of times, and I can see it being something that makes it's way on the weekly schedule :)

They love rolling out their own dough, putting on the sauce and toppings and making it their own!

July 14th is our Family Holiday (that was made up a couple of years ago) where we have doughnuts for dinner.

The kids LOVE this tradition!

We are gearing up for a year of homeschooling/learning and fun! I am getting more prepared and looking forward to what this year will bring for us! We are going to make these next couple of weeks worth it and just party!
