Field Day FUN!!!

Yesterday the boys had Field Day! I'll tell you that having 2 kids that go to field day at the same time is quite the workout, lol! But I did manage to get pictures of them at each of their events, and got to watch them both throughout the morning!

This game was kind of along the lines of Duck, Duck, Goose! but they dripped water on each players head (the bottom of the pitcher had holes in it) and then when they got to the person they wanted to pick, the dumped the pitcher on their head and said soaked! Haden is Soaking Alonzo :)

But if the person catches you as you are running, they get to dump water on you. As you can tell, Haden got caught :)

The boys had a BLAST!!! When the school said to bring a change of clothes, underwear, socks and shoes...I have to admit I thought it was a bit crazy. And thought that there was no way they would get that wet. Well I was wrong!! They got soaked and I was so glad I did!! Thanks to the awesome staff at Schorr for putting this on, it was so fun!!!

Cole's a Graduate!!!!

He graduated from pre-school today! He is sad to be done, but also SO excited to start Kindergarten. I can hardly believe I will have 3 in elementary school next year...just crazy!!!

They sang songs they had learned throughout the year! Miss Monaca told us all of the fun things they did!

And then they graduated!!! (We are missing 2 kids from his class..Chase moved and Ryan was out of town I believe) The cutie in the polka dot dress is a dear friend of mine, Heather, her little girl! I loved that they got to go to pre-school together!

Miss Monaca you are Amazing!!! Thank you for such a fantastic year!!! We are SO grateful for ALL she has done for us this year. Pre-school could not have happened had it not been for her and the anonymous tuition donors, we are SO grateful for each one of you!!!! Thanks to my Mom, Sandee and Jeff's Mom, Trudy for coming to the graduation, it made Cole's day!

Changes ahead....

After about a year and a half of unemployment and nothing really happening, Jeff has decided to go back to school!

He is going back to school to be a pharmacist (and I know he will be a great one at that)!! Once he decided that is what he wanted to do, I couldn't help but feel excited (and super nervous). We both feel like this next step is what we, as a family, are suppose to do. It won't be easy, but I know in the end it is going to be so worth it! We are ready for the challenges that are ahead of us. We are looking into everything from the schooling to the financial aid/grants, and are starting to figure things out (if anyone has any advice, tips, suggestions or knowledge in this area please share!!). I know that Jeff can do this, he is awesome!!! And I have faith that if this is what we are suppose to be doing, it will all work out and Heavenly Father will guide us and direct along the way.

So any thoughts and prayers for us as we make this change would be greatly appreciated!!! And Thank You to those who have and continue to support us, we so appreciate all of you!!!

I sit and stare in the mirror....

...wondering who that person is looking back at me. Surely it isn't me, there is no way I look like that. Indeed it is me...as I sigh and wonder how I got to be so big. The pains, the stress, the worries of life, having 5 kids in 6 1/2 years, and just not putting myself first...that is how I got to be this big.

But it is time for change!

I have decided to take control, to do something for me! And I have decided to do the HCG diet. Now I know not everyone agrees with it, I know that some may have their own thoughts and opinions on it. But to be totally honest, I don't care to hear them or read them! Yes that may seem rude or harsh, but I have done lots of reading, looked things up and I feel good about doing this. I trust myself! I know this will give me the jump start I need in the weight loss process. I have seen others have great success on this, and I am excited to change! During this time we are going to work on changing our families eating habits and have us all eat better. It will be good for all of us!

I am excited to not cringe or want to cry when I look in the mirror!!

Man Alive....

Coleman is 5!!!!

He started his morning with donuts :)

Then we opened a few presents (books and a new outfit)

His one wish for his birthday was to spend it playing wii with his Dad! So that is what they did, and Cole was in heaven!!

You are a fun loving, spirited, sweet and kind little boy! You have a ton of energy and bring so much joy into all of our lives! I remember when you were born, and people wondered if we were sad after 2 boys that you weren't a girl. Since we didn't know what we were having it was all a surprise and I can honestly say the moment I heard your cry and saw your face you made me melt and there was never a thought of wishing you had been a girl! And you make me melt daily with your sense of humor, your silliness, your sweet smile and your snuggles! You are true sunshine and I am so glad that Heavenly Father sent you to our family! We love you so much!!!
