Just keep swimimg....

Over Labor Day weekend, we took a trip down to Uncle Joe and Aunt Sue's in Chandler. We had a great time, except poor Karen and Renee had to stay home because Renee was sick. It was hard to leave them, but it's hard to find time to get together due to our busy schedules. Grandma and Papa arrived shortly after we got there, adding to the excitement.

Since Joe had the camera alone...we don't have as many pictures to post as I would like..but here are some to show you how much fun we had!

Ryan showing his fearless diving skills. He's not as comfortable without his floaties, but we're still working on that.

This is a funny video of Uncle Joe...just for the Aeschleman family..such skill he has. :-) Enjoy!

WASH ME!!!

The weather was REALLY nice so today I had the great idea to wash the cars. It was time....it had been months, probably 24 months since we've done it!!! We had just come home from playing at the park with the girls, and they were content watching a DVD, so I gave them their lunch to eat and I washed away. They didn't even hardly notice I was gone let alone spraying down the car. I was able to wash it, dry it, and do all the windows. I parked it, got the girls out and daddy came home. So I had him park it in the driveway so we could wash his too, (since his needed it worse than mine did!) And with all of us working together we got it done in no time flat! Our little helpers thought it was the neatest thing ever!
Look at the rims, eeeww! this is before...
during...

Ta-da! All finished! Looks almost brand new, minus all the scraps and dings! hahaha

Ry's new nickname

Ryan came home from school saying that he has a new friend named Diego. He told me that he likes Diego, he is nice and they get along well. That made me happy to hear. And then he said that he calls him "Rynito"

And that made me laugh!!

Bedtime Stories

I love capturing precious moments like these..... Before bed we usually read stories, and usually mommy is the one doing the reading, but tonight they wanted a turn! And they each took their turn with both stories.

These videos aren't too long, but they will be sure to put a smile on your face today!

The inflection in Renee's voice, and Kaylee's faces she makes cracks me up in this one.

The trade.....

Renee's solo with "Brown Bear" Again...Kaylee's faces and Renee's voice! And yes her favorite color must be "lello", I especially like the "lello goldfish!"

Thanks again grandma for the new book....they LOVE it!! (obviously) :)

Cooking styles

The girls are loving playing with their princess kitchen these days
(I scored a sweet deal at a garage sale.)
They love to cook for each other and make me yummy creations too.
They usually are pretty identical but there is always something different about them.....

heeheehee. Enough said! The picture says enough :)

GO TO SLEEP Baby!!

After we got home from church yesterday, the girls decided to "play house" until it was time to eat. So, one was the "baby", while the other was the "mommy"...we couldn't help but laugh. Here are two videos to brighten your day!

These are pictures to go along with my last post. So you can see just exactly what I looked like, and come on....if you saw me coming would you dare open your mouth saying....
"you've got your hands full, harhar!"
Seriously, just get out of my way!!!!

The Funny Thing About Kids...

So i have heard the comment "you have got your hands full!" a MILLION TIMES
and it doesn't bother me USUALLY. :) Today I had some passerby say that to me as I'm coming out of a store with the twins, (which they did not want to leave)....
so to paint the picture for you.....
I have one on one hip and trying to squirm out of my hands while the other is screaming and I have her torso in one hand and her legs in the other. So she is literally horizontal. I was quite the sight I guess and this passerby thought he was clever by saying "You've got your hands full!" to me, and I just wanted to say "yup I do!! Literally! Do you want to help?or what? otherwise get out of my way!" Can't they see my patience is already shot, with 2, screaming 2 yr olds? Come on!

Later, I had the kids out front to play (since the weather has turned nice again) and bought a yellow sign I bought that says "SLOW, kids at play" well, Ryan was fascinated by it. He wanted to make sure every car that passed saw it so he held it up for them to see! haha He got their attention alright, he got several waves, thumbs up and visible laughs from people. One especially I liked was from a punk teenager who was literally hauling up to our street probably close to 40 or 50 mph, which is one of the reasons I bought the sign. He Stopped looked at Ryan and gave him a thumbs up and smiled. I laughed out loud! !

School Days......

Found a few pictures in the pile from our days in nursing school in the Army......

Joe and a classmate Padilla, taking care of a newborn. The first baby that they helped deliver.

Karen getting to practice drawing blood on a classmate. We were all guinea pigs!
A common look by Joe.....just waking up from a cat nap when he should of been studying.
He still has the same look today. ;)

Joe in our classroom in Fort Bliss, El Paso Texas.

This is another frequent pose you saw. This is our Best Buddy and Joe's roommate, Brian.
On the phone, drinking chocolate milk, feet up, back pack on the bed unopened! haha

This one is for the Grandma's and Grandpa's

Grandma's and Grandpa's (and anyone else who loves Ry) your going to be so proud.
It's official.....Ryan is a BIG BOY! He goes to kindergarten, goes to sleep by himself, and takes care of wiping himself. Hooray!! We have been "sleep training him" the "Super nanny" way and we have finally reached the desired outcome of him falling asleep without any of us being in the room with him, or lying with him. Hallelujah! So we celebrated and took the family to Chuck E Cheese. It was a lot of fun and just so happened to be Joe's birthday too!

We went on a Monday afternoon, and let me tell you....that is the time to go! It was like we had the place and Chuck E to ourselves. I think there was 2 or 3 other families, it was so sweet.

Kaylee is absolutely mesmerized! He's like a celebrity!

Renee was the first to stand still for a picture for me and I just loved the happy face she has!

This picture is just classic to me.....Joe is in position to referee, Kaylee is making a mess as usual spitting out something, Renee is "giving a look" and Ryan is just being himself.

Then Ryan is off and running after his 4 bites have been eaten, Renee is adding MORE cheese to her pizza and..... How big of a bite is Kaylee going to take??

Renee Playing air hockey with dad, she has a great laugh in this one!

Ryan driving the Monster truck!

Renee driving the monster truck but not so sure about it! haha

Kaylee riding the Bob the builder tractor and then Chuck E comes out to say hi!!

Don't try this at home....

Sooo....Ryan thought that this frisbee was a small hula hoop. Well it wasn't, and it got stuck!! It was sooo stuck that we almost thought we were going to have to cut it off! See the video below!

Don't worry we got it off, and in one piece. We didn't even have to get out power tools or call the fire department. Mom had the bright idea to take off his shorts and with Joe pulling on one side and me on the other we made the circle turn into and oval and slide it down and off!! Pheww!

Park Days

With Ryan in school, it's nice to have some "one on two" time with my twins. Going to the park is always a good time. We do miss brother, but its that much easier (for mom) minus one!

Renee adoring her beautiful hand picked flower :)
Kaylee being a monkey swinging in the tree! (she looks so big to me in this picture!)

I love the mirror image moments like this one! One is "ordering" some cookies and the other is "making them". Love the imagination at work too!

One monkey up, on monkey down!

"I did it!" and "look at me!" are common phrases heard from them, especially in this shot.
