Jude's Preschool Halloween Party

Here he comes!
Hi mom!

Picture craft that is a magnet
Mom and Jude
Jude's trick was a somersault
Listening to a spooky story
Jude's mask
Singing and dancing
Finally after all that work the doughnut!

Today was Jude's Halloween party and it was so fun! He is Captain America but still after two years has a hard time parting with Spiderman so we compromised and he wore it under his costume. Last year he wore Spiderman for the trunk or treat and his Ironman on Halloween. So this year he was Spiderman/Captain America. I felt very protected! It was fun to spend time with Jude one on one at his school and see what a big boy he is. He keeps growing up even though I ask him to stop!

Talent Show

Last night Sibley and her friend Julia were in the school talent show. They performed a little gymnastics/dance routine that Julia's mom made up for them. Julia's mom also played the piano and she played The Entertainer and the girls did such a great job. They were not scared at all! They had fun getting primped with nails, hair, dress and even stickers on their cheeks! After we all went to Baskin Robbins for some ice cream. It was a fun family night! I also have to add that I love the picture of the girls hugging outside. Julia lives just right down the street so anytime they are leaving after playing they have to run and hug each other. Girls are so fun!

Relaxin'

The kids didn't have school today and it had rained last night (finally) so we opted for McDonalds for lunch today. This was Jude and he was, "just relaxing" after he ate. Such a funny boy!

Punt, Pass and Kick

Today at the kids school it was Punt, Pass and Kick. In case you didn't know, that is when each child who signs up gets to throw once, punt once and kick once and they add up the total distance. The top three go on and compete against other elementary schools. Gabe has been excited about this for weeks. All I was hoping was that he would do well enough to be happy with himself. As you can see by the last picture, he did great! I love that boy! Sibley decided today that she wanted to compete. I think it had something to do with her best friend Julia giving it a try. Sibley was too far away for pictures but she did great. I think it hurt her poor little toes kicking that big football! Jude was just a spectator with me but as you can see from the picture above, he was breaking the rules by going on the other side of the tape. He also looked so cute in our friend's BYU helmet. Such a fun little guy! By the way, in case you were wondering Allen, Texas is HUGE when it comes to football. I know all of Texas is but the Allen H.S. is 5th in the nation in football and currently there is a new 65 million dollar stadium being built. Pretty ridiculous right? We are hoping to go to a few games next year and enjoy the football spirit.
