Gingerbread houses

Last week our neighbors the Shermans had us over to decorate gingerbread houses. Our kids had a great time picking out the candy to put on.

Sledding

Annie and Cameron have been loving the snow this year. They love bundling up and going out. It is so cute to see them work together and help each other out. They have really taken a liking to sledding this year. There is the perfect little hill that they take turn pulling each other down. I don't have to carry anyone or anything to the top. Definately my kind of sledding.

Even Megan gets in on the fun every once in a while.

Thanksgiving

Yes, Thanksgiving was two weeks ago and we had a wonderful time. I don't know why it has taken me so long to post about it. Liz (eric's sister), Travis, and Calvin come from Boston to spend the week. Travis started Dental school the same year Eric started his PhD program and so we have had Thanksgiving together every year. We are definately going to miss it next year. Thanks for coming guys!

Calvin loves to wrestle and it didn't take long until Annie and Cameron got in on the fun.

Liz brought stuff for the kids to make gumdrop turkeys, which is something Eric and Liz did growing up.

We had a delicious Thanksgiving dinner. It made me really, really appreciate all the work that my mom put into making Thanksgiving dinner. It is a lot of work, but very worth it!:)

On Friday the gang minus me and Megan headed out to Palmyra. They had a great time seeing all of the sites.
We love living so close.
We had fun just being together, playing games, laughing, and letting the kids play!:)

1st real snow

Today we woke up to our 1st "real" snow (sticking to the ground). I am sure not to be our last. Annie and Cameron were very excited and ready to go out and make a snowman at 8am this morning. It was very fun!

3 cute snow kids

They love to swing no matter what the weather.

Cameron loves Megan and loves to play with and take care of her.
He is a very sweet brother to both of his sisters.

Annie is growing up so fast. She is "in to coloring". Whenever she has free time she is either coloring or practicing her letters.

Climber

Megan loves to climb! Up on the dishwasher, the stairs, on Cameron's bed. It is such a fun trick.
She is one silly little girl. We love her!!!

Halloween

We had a great Halloween. We went to Powers Market in the morning, Annie had a preschool party, we had dinner in a pumpkin with our friends the Stewarts, trick-or-treating, and donuts with our friends the Highams. What a day!

The Prince on his horse

The little Rabbit

Annie came up with the idea to make scarecrows. SO CUTE! She is very creative.

PUMPKINS

Here is our pumpkin that we carved this year.

On Halloween we went to Powers Market in Pittsford. The weather was perfect and we loved being outside.

We love Meg's smile

They have these huge teepees that have a 100 or so jacko'lanterns. SO COOL! Annie and Cameron liked running through again and again.

Halloween Fun

On Saturday our Halloween fun started. We had a party at Whipple Park (the place we live). The kids dressed up and we had lunch. Then on Saturday night we had our ward Halloween party with a cake walk, pin the face on the pumpkin, fishing for prizes, bowling with pumpkins, dancing and lots of yummy treats. The kids had a great time!
If you can't tell we went with a snow white theme this year.

Megan=snow white's rabbit friend, Eric=dwarf, Cameron=snow white's prince and horse, Annie=the beautiful Snow White, Katie=the evil old lady with the apple

We got a little hot and had to take off our costumes, but look how cute she is even without the costume!

Sunday Walk

Cameron and Annie have been loving having their bikes. Now when we go for Sunday walks they like to ride.

That is one handsome little boy!:)

Annie has learned lots of tricks on her bike like no hands, standing up to pedal, and using her foot on her front wheel to go backwards. Pretty fancy ANN!

Megan loves to go in the wagon. We have to be careful because she thinks it is fun to stand up and hold on to the sides. I just think she is the cutest thing ever.

What's up?

I noticed that I hadn't blog about a few things and so the next couple of post will be a mixture of random fun!

LEAF GIRL
One day our friend Rachel climbed a tree and picked a lot of beautiful leaves. Annie stuffed her pockets and started calling herself "Leaf Girl!"

A couple of weeks ago we got to have some of our favorite friends over for the evening. We had dinner, played, and decorated Halloween sugar cookies. Thanks for the fun night Shermans!:)

Annie in curlers. Yes, she has natural curly hair, but she wanted to try curlers and she looks super cute!

STICKER BOY
This just happened tonight while I was making dinner. Annie found some stickers and put them all on Cameron, ears and all. He wanted to wear them for the rest of the night and made us laugh. He liked them up until the point that I had to pull them off. OUCH!

Good Bye Long, Hello Short

A couple of years ago I decided I wanted to grow my hair out and have it long for a while. I loved it, but I have been itching for a change for the past few weeks. It was hard to give up my long hair that made the best pony tail (oh how I will miss that:(), but I am so excited for the new look.

BEFORE

AFTER (What do you think?)

Because my hair was so long I wanted to be able to donate it. I didn't have enough for Locks of Love, but my friend had posted about another hair donation called, Pantene's Beautiful Lengths and you only have to have 8 inches of hair. I am going to send it in and hope that they can use it.

It is a little strange to look at my pony tail laying on the table.
