HP2: Check & Side Note

Well, I didn't think it was going to happen so quickly. I finished Mockingjay yesterday and Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets today. I'm hoping to finish another tomorrow. Just goes to show you what easy reading they are compared to text books. Those can take me more than a week to read a chapter. :) I love reading and I will hopefully keep posting books that I read. Books are not as exciting as our real lives, but it is something to post about.

One funny thing that did happen this week to both Kendall and I... I was looking everywhere for my keys before I left the house. I'm serious, for 3 min I was looking all around. THEY WERE IN MY HAND THE WHOLE TIME. Kendall also had this experience when he opened up the cupboard and started pulling things out looking for the bread crumbs. He asked if we had any bread crumbs and he kept looking and looking behind almost all the baking stuff. I looked up from doing the dishes and also said, are those bread crumbs in your hand? He pulled them out to look behind when that is what he was looking for. We both got a good laugh on the second one because we are both going crazy. Maybe more funny things to come?

Marriage :)

K: What time does your alarm go off?
H: Seven.
K: What time do you get up?
H: Eight-thirty.
K: Maybe you should change it to at least eight.

(All said with a strait face.)

For some reason last night I wanted to sleep on Kendall's side of the bed. I wasn't sure if it would help me sleep better, but I was just feeling a need for change. Maybe I thought it would help me cling to Kendall more because I don't like being close to the door. OR maybe it was because he loves to sleep with the window open and the fan ON and I get COLD! I thought he might enjoy some time by the cold breezy window.

When we woke up this morning Kendall had taken my (extra) blue feather blanket that I sleep with because I'm cold. He must have been CHILLY! For some reason he doesn't find joy in sleeping under the covers like I do. This time he resorted to my blanket. Tonight I am putting it under the flat sheet so there is no risk of it disappearing throughout the night.  :)

Our bedtime stories are some of the best to tell. Laughing before bed is good medicine for a long day.

Love is getting someone a glass of water in the middle of the night.

Love is wondering what he's doing right now this very moment.

Love is being happy just knowing that she's happy ... but that isn't so easy.
