January Things!

We had some days before the dunes to play, so off to the new Slick City!

This place is such a fun concept!
I do wonder what their insurance policy is.

Flying down steep slides head first, and ones that launch you in the air, I wasn't about
to try it myself, lol!

Lindi has been loving her gel nail kit.
She comes up with great designes!

Her first client was Marcie!

We went to Sadies mission farewell.
Sadie is Lanes special someone.

They saw a lot of each other their senior year!
She had a positive impact on Lane.
For that we are grateful!

We don't know what the future looks like for them,
but we know she will be a wonderful hermana in Chile!

I wish I would have kept track of all the different things we have hosted over the years.
When I start thinking about it, it adds up!
Bridal showers, firesides, new member socials for church, "Cone & Go's",
Lip Sync Battles, family Sunday night dinners, birthday parties, Bachelor watching girls nights,
mutual,  endless game nights...

Our house is small, but luckily has just enough space for gatherings!

This night happend to be a special Bishops fireside.
Our YW president had a major hook up.
President Steven J. Lund is a good family friend of hers, and he was so kind to
share a message specifically for our youth!

Clovis street rallied around the Whitmers as their beloved dog, Buddy, was
going to be put down in the morning.

He started out at the Yamamotos, but then ended up at the Whitmers when they
figured out they weren't dog people, lol.

He was there before Della was even born!
She took to him as her own personal pet.

She was beyond devastated, but he was so sick and they pushed this as far as they could.

We had a little gathering to say bye,
where Buddy got to eat pizza, his favorite, to his heart content!

Poor thing, sobbed her eyes out that night.
Another reason why we will never get a dog!!

Here is the Buddy shrine that sits next to her bed, in loving memory.

Miche sewed a pillow that matched his special blanket for her to snuggle.
Bless all the pet people in the world, because I do not relate to any of this, ha.

Dance comp season!
Spent the day out in Phoenix.
Luckily it was close to Last Chance for a quick shopping trip!

New year means throwing away all the crap I could get my hands on!

This box was just from underneath the girls beds!

Lindi made the volleyball team!
She started growing a love for it, and may possible give up
dance next year to explore that more!

It was a hot day, why not swim!!

Rusty got asked to Winter formal by Bella Miller!
This was his first high school dance.

He didn't seem excited at first because this was not his normal friend group.
Surprise, surprise when it helped branch him out to different people and he
actually had a good time!

New Years Eve - Welcome 2026!

Another year in the books!
It was hectic, emotional, beautiful and everything in between!

These dune pictures are in no significant order.
By now its the same old routine while there:

Eat, sleep and RIDE!

Christmas Eve & Christmas Day 2025!

We don't really have big traditions when it comes to Christmas, or Christmas Eve.
Some things stay constant, with a little twist.

New to this year was some bowling!
It's quite the crowd on Christmas Eve.

The constant, dinner at Cheesecake Factory!!
While we waited for our table we checked out Santa in the mall.

Della was the only brave one to stand for a picture!

We were missing Lane big time, but were so happy he was having zone conference
with Sawyer on his Christmas Eve!

Jesse and Kristen invited us over for Left, Right, Center!

No winners from our family, but still a good time.

Casey wasn't feeling the greatest at this point.
You can see it in his eyes.

CHRISTMAS MORNING!!

3 happy kids.
Rusty is happy, he's just putting on image on of being a cool teenager.

See that smirk.
Santa gave him the Minky blanket he asked for!

Doc sandals with 3 straps!
Very specific, and VERY hard to find (per Santa) as they are from last season.

RC car for the New Years dunes trip!

Smiles all around, and wrapping paper all around.

Poor Casey was officially sick.
He had a fever that lasted most of the rest of the week.
He spent Christmas day in bed.

Late lunch at my parents!
Grandpa cooking up his specialty, quesadillas!

A Christmas call from Lane!
Love that he got to wear a sweater.

The boys propped him up at the table with them while they ate.

Then moved on to utter chaos with the Goodman cousin gift exchange!

So many kids, it might be time to find something else to do soon.
They don't seem to mind waiting an hour
for their name to get called to receive their gift!

Watching the last Goodman 2025 recap video as Bre announced her retirement!
These videos are treasures, and Im thankful she has made the effort to make them
all of these years.

After some families trickled out we played a fun new game the Ellingson's brought, Hitster!

Claire and Lindi wearing the hot ticket item of the year-  Lonely Ghost in camo!

Another Christmas and memories for a lifetime!
