Improving each day.

Friday Night Fun...

It's no secret I love Halloween.
I love the costumes and the dressing up and it all.
Half (literally) of our closet is filled with past costumes.
Britton and I have shared many a discussion on WHY we need to keep all these costumes.
I won't part with them.
Enough said.

Friday night, the girls had some friends over to hang out.
The costume boxes came out.
THIS is why we store costumes.
(Que:  Britton rolling his eyes at me...)
Good fun.
The boys took post with some "boy" movies... far away from the girls.

 Pizza, Pizookies &

Games galore.

Topping the night...
TP-ing.

Of course,
revenge found our house.

And it all begins...

Random Funniness

(While loading the boys into the bath... Preston went MIA...again.
He LOVES to run free while "free."
My son, in all his glory, on Chloe's desk.)

Max was playing a computer game.
Benton was watching.
Max didn't want Benton to watch...
Max says to Benton:
"WOULD YOU PLEASE STOP BEING SO CURIOUS!"

Competitive Blood...

An intense game of football.
Interceptions, touchdowns, huddles, new receivers were all called.
The quarterback (Dad) was frequently complained to for NOT aiming.
(Anything less than a complete pass was always due to Dad's aiming...or so they say.)

Preston Speaks

The man has found some words.
Ahh Bee:  Aubrey
Chlooo EE:  Chloe
Tent ton:  Benton
Maww EE:  Molly
Mom:  Mom
Dad DEE:  Daddy

He REFUSES to say Max, or even attempt.
I think we're going to need to get Max therapy over this.
Doesn't help that "TENT ON" is his call for all.
("Tent on" can do no wrong in this little guys eyes...)
At 18 months...
Preston weights 28 lbs. (70%)
and is 34.5 inches tall (97%)
and has 10 teeth that know how to bite.
We're working on that...

Cookie Quest...

I'm a carb junky.
For years I have practiced my skills on breads.
I've got bread down.

This year...
Cookies.
I shall master the cookie this year.

First year of marriage memory...
I made cookies.
Britton asks, "Why are your cookies always so thin?"
My reply, "That's the way I like them." (lie...)
Real answer... "I don't know why!"
I truthfully had/have no idea why my cookies are always so thin.

This year, I shall find out.
Stay tuned.
