Okay, most of our yard was up on the hill off to the left. Jeff's BF from HS is an excellent excavator, and planned a great yard for us -- starting with uncovering half of it under the dirt! If you look closely, you can see Morgan & Derek playing in the rocks that are later to become our retaining wall.

The boys watched for hours while the machines cleared the land. It was an awesome sight.
The rock wall goes up, delayed by days of raining at a time - see the huge puddles after 3 days of drying? The clay dirt bogged down the machines if it didn't dry out enough.
The fence is up, and the cool ramp is in for mowing on the upper level. Little Carlie, Morgan & Derek are smiling on the stone steps.
Trenches are set for the sprinkling system... something we didn't have to worry about in PA!!! Pay money to water the grass? What would you want to do that for?
