Walk to the Park

It was so nice and sunny, we decided to walk and ride to the park. Gracen had quite a ride... lasting all of about 2 minutes. The hill was apparently "too high and long"
Carson just enjoyed the ride and chilly air.I loved it... and it wiped Carson out.

SLACKER!!

OK, Now I'm just getting LAZY! Nothing really exciting has been going on. Just life I guess.

Carson has decided that he does NOT want to lay down to eat anymore. He has to sit up in his little chair. He can't sit on the floor, but he does pretty good on soft surfaces.
Here's a play-by-play of his rolling abilities...
Line up the toys...He sees them and wants them... we put them just out of reach...He rolls up onto his side... takes a good look at them......and we're back to the beginning.We'll get it one of these days.

I can't believe it's been a week since I posted anything. Things have been really busy with the Primary Program, Pre-school, Joy School, and just watching these kids GROW. I sure love them.

Gracen LOVES playing with Carson. She's always finding him little toys to play with...
...notice the little toys tucked in around his belly. She found one of Bugga's dinosaurs she borrowed a while ago and that is now Carson's favorite toy. Don't even think of taking it away from him. TEARS WILL BE SHED! :o) I think he's figuring out the "crying" system... if he wants Gracen to get in trouble or really wants something... the water-works start. Isn't he too young to start this? :o)
Carson still has no interest in rolling over. We put him on his belly and he arches and swings his bum and legs up into the air.
Then he starts looking for help... then he cries. He can almost sit up by himself, but he likes to throw his head back as soon as he gets his balance. Silly boy!

Star of the Month

Gracen got to be the "STAR" of the month in her pre-school class. We made a poster with pictures of her and things she likes to do.
She was so excited to take it into her class.

Things Gracen says...

Yesterday I was getting Gracen ready for church and Gracen looked at me and patted my belly... "Mom, you're belly is really chubby. (smile) And you boobins are kind of big. (bigger smile) And your feet are HUGE!" She really knows how to make a mom feel beautiful.

Getting back into the swing of things...

...or at least trying to. Gracen was sure glad to have her little buddy home.
And Carson was glad to have his own "blue" toys. :o) (not really... I know he misses Jane)
It was such a BEAUTIFUL day on Thursday we went outside to carve her pumpkin. I talked her into at least putting her hand in the pumpkin...
...but she wouldn't touch or pull out any of the guts.She did choose the shapes of the face and helped cut a little. (Little Foot had to be a part of everything we did that day)

Going home... :o(

Just as I was getting use to seeing Carson is pink... it was time to go.
We thought about pack little Jane, but she just didn't fit. Claire asked if we could trade babies. She said Jane could come home with me and Carson could stay and wear Janes cute pink clothes... her dad just needed a little buddy.
Carson misses those beautiful girls.
But this girl missed him more!
