Fall-ish...Fall-ing....Fall-ed

We decided to head up Sardine canyon and check out the wonderful colors that are out and it was beautiful. It was nice to be up in the crisp air. The ladies liked it too.

Macy Bea:
She likes to eat everything with her hands, even though she knows how to use a spoon
She twirls whenever she hears music
She loves tomatoes
She is pure sunshine

Claire Jane:
She loves Phineas and Ferb
She likes to sing made up songs rather than real ones
She rocked the primary program like it was nobody's business
She is a little sassy, but I still love her

They are having the best time playing with each other. Macy just giggles at Claire all the time. Sissy's, there is nothing like them.

This picture kind of reminds me of this picture when they are just ity bities...Ohhhh, they are such cute little ladies.

Farmer's Market Finds

We love to wake up on Saturday morning and make our way to the local farmer's market. The girls love the music and to touch all the jewelry. Last time Claire got to make an animal out of toothpicks and little squash. She thought it was the best.

Jer and I always like to search for something tasty and new to try. This week it was yummy rosemary bread and a tomatillo and cilantro dipping sauce. So good. Can't wait until next week!

2nd Annual...

Shrimp boil!! I have been dreaming about this day for an entire year since our last boil. Just as good as I remember. And this time we didn't even have to do freezer corn. Yippee!

Ah-mazing.

Menu:
shrimp
corn
onions
little smokeys
carrots
new potatoes
lemons

Combine these lovelies with Cajun spices and oh man, life changing experiences happen. Plus, good company never hurts.

The food bearers
Yeah, they thought they were pretty cool.
Pouring!! It is almost time. My mouth is watering all over again. Sad right?
Oh momma mia!
Me and the hubs. Macy is chowing down in the background.

And the end result. So full. So happy.
And on a side note. This is why everyone loves grandma. How many kids can you fit on a swing?

Chilly Mc-Nilly

You know it's your last time at Bear Lake when...

You have to bury the children in warm sand to make sure they don't freeze to death.
Macy doesn't have a single picture without her jacket on.

It is funny how kids completely disregard the temperature and play until their teeth are chattering.

helpful?

This is what happens when little girls are helping mom with chores. Laundry head is a classic case of helping gone wild.

As you can tell, Macy is really useful...amusing is probably a better description.
