In order to get closer to catching up on this blog, this post is going to be a photo dump of some of the things we did in June.
We went swimming at Nana's house, and the new pool floats were a huge hit!
We had play dates. They are looking at the turtles at the Botanic Gardens.
Rolling down hills has become a new favorite. I even got a chance to join them.
Patterning with marshmallows- Seriously the best way to make patterns
Playing outside
M made cucumber soup all by herself.
M, also, finally, got her own library card.
We watched lots of World Cup,
And read a lot!
Here is a bit of how life goes sometimes. Who gives a toddler confetti and does not inform the parents?
We measured, weighed, and observed earth worms and gummy worms. It was a fun science day.
We played soccer in the backyard.
GOAL!
My moms' group had a play date at a local playground where they had a teeter totter.
Both M and E needed some help figuring out how it worked.
And Baby A is learning how to move and scoot.

A day trip to the country
We were invited to meet a week old baby goat the last weekend in May.
The girls played on this large trampoline.
J and I both had to try walking this line. It is surprisingly very difficult when trying to walk forward facing on it. J is such a great dad of girls. He is sporting one of their bows on his shorts so we do not lose it.
The favorite part was getting to feed and meet baby Lacy.
Our friend A and I finishing the feeding.
It was such a great opportunity for us to get out of the city. We fully appreciate it!

Great Wolf Lodge
We went on a short vacation near the end of May to Great Wolf Lodge. J had a meeting the morning we were leaving on the northeast side of the metroplex. We picked up my sister at my parents' house near where his meeting was being held, and we played at a nearby playground.
I have no clue why this facial expression was being made by M, but it was a nice surprise to find on my camera.
After the meeting and the drive over to Grapevine, we hit the pool. A decided to take a nap.
Both older girls loved the wave pool.
Love this.
They really enjoyed having bunk beds in their own little area.
Round 2 of swimming and we ran into some fun characters.
J and M on the lazy river.
We found out that M was 42inches tall! This means that she can go on even more slides.
E liked being tall enough to go down the green and orange slides with her sister.
Small slides are still fun too.
This is as much as A got in the water.
She liked hanging out with her aunt.
One night we went to the mall and rode the carousel.
They loved this character the best.
Story time as a family
The last morning that we were there they opened up the outdoor pool. M and J hit the slides together.
The girls liked going across these leap pads.
We had a great time, and the girls, even months later, ask when are we going back.
