Time saver

I was cleaning my crock pot on Saturday night. I hate cleaning it. Six quarts of stuck on cheese. Not that there was six quarts left-my queso isn't that bad :) I just really dislike scraping all the sides. As I was doing this Jeremy comes in and says you know there are liners that you can place in your slow cooker so after you are all done you just have to throw away the liner. A little annoyed that he failed to mention this a couple days prior. I looked it up and yes there is such a thing at Bed Bath and Beyond. I am excited and will purchase them before I ever have to use my slow cooker again. Just in case you had no idea there was such a thing either.

Science & History Museum

Garrett and Catherine are moving to Fort Worth! We are so excited. They came a couple of weeks ago to look for an apartment. We went to Joe T Garcia's for dinner, because you have to go there if you are visiting here-very Ft. Worth and beautiful and delicious! I love that place.
Below is a classic Maddie facial expression, but I am pretty sure she is wondering where her fajitas are.

The next day, Saturday, we went to the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History. We were able to go for free. Bank of America customers on the first weekend of every month this year are able to get into a variety of museums across the country just by showing their check card or check. My friend Michelle told us about it and she came too! This is a picture of Maddie in a dinosaur footprint.

As Jeremy was looking at the pictures I took he wondered if his mouth is always open like that. I had to break it to him that yes it usually is, but I love that about him-always jovial. Apparently Maddie inherited that trait.
Michelle was a great help.

Maddie had a great time.

Thanks Bank of America and Michelle!

Confessions of a beautiful Blogger

My very creative friend Sarah at her blog Our Nesting Ground shared the Beautiful Blogger Award with me. The rules are simple I am suppose to list seven things about myself and then pass the award on.

Here we go:

1. When I was about four years old I was on the Fort Wayne, Indiana version of the Bozo Show.

2. The only country I have ever visited outside the United States is Canada. We went to Niagara Falls.

3. I write w's, u's, and v's backwards. I start on the right side of the letter instead of the left.

4. I read Pride and Prejudice every year. However, the book that I absolutely love is Anne of Green Gables.

5. I have only dyed my hair once, and it turned out more orange then red. I will confess that I knew Jeremy liked red hair. Motivation? Probably.

6. I have never seen the movie Titanic.

7. I thought that when Miley Cyrus sang Party in the USA she was singing Party in the Hizz-ay (How do you spell that?).

I want to read about you. I pass this award on to:

Abby at My Comings and Goings...
Elizabeth at Elizabeth, you were Born to Play that Part
Jennifer at A Pair of Asian Shoes
Holly at hollywynn
Lynn at The Happenings of Lynn
