Still Sucks His Thumb

A couple of month ago James got really sick. I don't know what he had, but he was a sick, sick little boy. He was really congested and had a ridiculously high fever. He was so miserable that he couldn't nap or really sleep at night because he was so uncomfortable. Finally I got him to fall asleep in my arms. It was a sweet moment because neither of my kids had slept in my arms in ages. I quickly discovered the down side, though. Moments after falling asleep he peed. All over my lap. Oh man!

After sleeping on my wet lap for about an hour, he grumpily moved onto the floor for about another hour. It looked pretty uncomfortable! But whatever.

How To Cure a Hypochondriac

How do you cure a Hypocondriac? Wait until they actually get sick.

A few weeks ago I started coughing and Kate started immitating me. Then several times, out of no where, she would start into fits of "coughing". Here's the fake cough:

Last week Kate actually got sick. She was really congested and had a nasty cough. She's feeling much better now. Her cough is gone and her fake cough is also gone. Go figure.
