Hmmm...

Bet you can't guess where I've been. Smelly animals, candy apples, ferris wheels, tilt-a-whirl, cotton candy. The good ol' Box Elder County fair. Bout that time of year for all the fair fun. Been going my whole life and call me crazy but I love it. There are defintely some weirdo's there, the workers all look like perverted sickos, they charge way too much for pretty much everything. But despite all of that, I still look forward to it every single year. Here is a little glimpse of our night. Theo couldn't come (soccer practice that night), so me and the boys had some fun for ourselves without him.

Funny thing...this night I actually saw the resemblance between my boys. I usually think they look nothing alike, but that night I saw it. I don't know if it was their brown shirts or what but you could defintely tell they were brothers. Whatever the case I think they are absolutely the two most beautiful kids in the whole wide world.

We could not get done eating fast enough for Carson. He was just dying to get on those rides. I love the first night, cause each ride is just one ticket. Which pretty much means Carson could ride as many as he wanted. Lines were long but we made it work.

My mom and Dean were awesome and kept track of this little peanut all night. It was nice cause I could just spend time with Carson and take him around.

Carson just totally cracks me up. Absolutely nothing in this world scares him. He may be small in size but he holds his own pretty dang well. He rode every ride imaginable and was dying to go on the big kid rides as well. Ash took him and Brev on the big yellow slide (you all know the one). She got up there and the idea was to put Brev on her lap, sit next to Carson and hold his hand so they could go down together. Carson gets all situated in his spot, and Ashley goes to sit down and reaches over to take Carson's hand. Too late, he is half way down the slide already. I just laughed as I saw his little body zooming down that big old slide with a huge smile on his face. Love my boy and his daring little ways. Fun, fun night!

He's Mobile!

And he's off...watch out people he is moving. No more sitting stationary and not getting into things. This kid keeps me hopping constantly now. I knew I was in for it as soon as he learned to crawl. He is just so dang busy all the time. Doesn't understand sitting still or nice quiet time. Carson was so different at this age. He loved to cuddle and have me hold him, he also could sit for a good hour playing with the exact same toy. Not my Bujaou, he is into anything and everything. He is total boy and it makes me laugh. Even the way he crawls, he sorta just plops his arms down and trudges along. So funny. Baby proofing has made a comeback this week. Locks, gates, and protectors over EVERYTHING!

No turning back...

Yep, its official. Our house is for sale. It all kinda happened extremely fast and I am still going back and forth about whether it is the right thing to do....but here we go. We have another house that we have put an offer on (with the contingent that our house sales) so we will see how things go. We listed our house on Wednesday night and already had 3 walk-throughs yesterday. Who knows if anything will come of them, but at least we are getting some interest. We had planned on putting it up for sale maybe next spring, but we have admired our hopefully new house for awhile now and all the sudden it came up for sale. We set up an appointment to walk through just out of curiosity and fell in love. So we decided to go ahead and see what happens. Even if we don't end up getting our house that we want, we are still go to sell this one and look for something just a little bigger. We are just outgrowing our little starter home.

Here is my little home...I am posting pictures for two reasons. First, if any of you know of someone interested in a small home in the Clearfield area, please show them this post. Second of all, when we do sell it and are no longer living here I want to be able to look back and remember. So many incredible moments and memories we have made under this roof. I truly have loved this home.

Our beautiful yard...I love, love, love our yard. Alot of blood, sweat and tears have gone into this thing. Literally, we have worked so hard to get it the way it is now. Hard to walk away from that.

Entryway and foyer with stairs leading down to the basement.

Kitchen and semi-formal dining with sliding door leading out to backyard.

Family room.

Master bedroom....

Master bath...

1st bedroom/office

2nd bedroom

Kids bathroom

A few shots of the unfinished basement....plenty of room to grow and expand down there.

So there you have it. Breaks my heart to think of leaving. We have LOVED this house and have shared some of my most treasured moments here. We started our lives together here, brought both of our babies home to this house. Shared holidays, birthdays, lazy summer afternoons. It will feel like we are leaving a piece of us behind when we leave. However, it is time. We feel certain that this is the next step for our little family. So with a whole lot of faith, that little sign now stands in our yard. Like it or not.

Watch out world....

cause here he comes! Getting ready to send my little guy out into the big ol' mean world. We had his preschool orientation tonight. My oh my, I have a preschooler. Can't even believe it. Counting my blessings that it is just preschool for 2 more years, and not Kindergarten yet. Don't think I am ready for that one yet.

I was really impressed with his little classroom and teacher. Both of my cousin's kids (Tanner and Hallie) have gone here and they both loved it, including their mom. The teacher has been doing this for 12 years now, and she is totally great at it. I loved his little agenda, schedule, activities etc.... Very impressed.

Doesn't he look excited?? He really is super excited, he was just being a pill for that picture. He starts Sept 9th, the Wednesday after labor day. He will be going Mondays and Wednesdays from 12:45-3:00. Can't even believe that he is this old, but I am so excited for him and this little chapter in his life. Love this kid, like you wouldn't believe. Thank my lucky stars that he is mine.

9 MoNtHeR....

Tack another month onto baby boys life. 9 months ago from today to be exact. Crazy to think that Lincoln is now as old as my pregnancy with him. Now why couldn't those 9 months have gone by as fast as the past nine months. Go figure, right.

Went for his well child care appointment today. Great appointment, gotta love the 9 month visit. No shots at this age, and that is a very nice thing. Apparently I make very small children. Lincoln was a little over 15 pounds and 27 inches long. Which puts him in the 1% for weight and 8% for height. My poor, skinny little kids. Oh well, their is worse things in life I suppose. Overall he looked awesome his doctor says.

No tears today, just all smiles. He loves to sit on that crinkly paper....loves the sound it makes.

Had to throw this picture in of big brother. Makes me laugh. We got home from the doctor and Lincoln fell asleep. I hauled him into the house and yelled for Carson to come inside. Go outside to find him sitting in the front seat, all buckled in and wearing my glasses. No worries, he didn't have the keys. I just saw him and started laughing and grabbed my camera. Cute kid!
