HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

Well, Thanksgiving has already come and gone.  It was really nice to spend time at James' cousin Rebecca's with alot of Uncle Calvin and Aunt Sue's family (even though we terribly missed the traditions we've created with the McNairy's)!  All the food turned out perfect and the pies looked too yummy not to try a bite of each one!  I think that's the first time I've ever done that...
Since we had some time during the break we all pitched in and got the house looking Christmas-y!  Sara assembled one tree all by herself!  Looking forward to a 'warm' month of December where we can even further reflect on the blessings that are ours!  Wishing you a Merry Christmas!

An Early Start to Feel the Christmas Spirit!

Last night we drove to a nearby town so we could get a glimpse of the 85 foot Christmas tree that is being gifted by Arizona to the U.S. Capitol!  We got to autograph the LARGE banner that stretched the length of the 100 ft. trailer.  Even good 'ol WalMart was there with just the right temperature hot chocolate and sugar cookies.  Can't wait to see this beauty gleaming to provide LIGHT for our nation during the Christmas season!

Surprise Package!

Sara was elated when she read HER name on a large envelope that came in today's mail!  Turns out that Sara won 2nd place in a coloring contest Storytime Felts hosted.  Sara colored a dress that the company copied on to felt...PLUS they sent her a yellow haired, girl doll with a gazillion dress up clothes for it.  So instead of folding laundry I cut all the outfits out to fill Sara's carrying case (also came with the prize).  Talk about AMAZING mail!  Congrats Sara Dolly!
