Summary of Our Summer-Fun with Maddie!

Having Maddie here was wonderful in many ways...one of my favorites - she helped me feel like I was still in Payson!  The girls attended basketball camp, cheer camp, rocketry class, art classes, and Activity Days!  During the "off" time they just loved playing together (vet clinic, baking, swimming, singing, etc.).  Saying good-bye was HORRIBLE, we missed her as soon as she was walking down the ramp to board her plane.  Thanks Maddie for bringing some UT lovin' our way!

Happy Father's Day!

James is a great dad so he got the royal treatment for Father's Day!  One of our favorite parts was dinner...bacon wrapped chicken on the grill!  YUM!

A Little Visitor

Sara had to leave some special friends back in Payson when we moved.  Our neighbor Maddie went on a LONG car ride with her uncle and his family so that she could spend some time with us in Arizona!  The months we've been away have felt long but I was happy to see Sara and Maddie pick up right where they left off!  It's going to be a fun-filled 2 weeks with our special visitor!

Any More Conventions??

James had a conference in Vegas and so he dropped the kids and I off at my parents' and kidnapped my dad so he'd have a traveling buddy.  We all had a great time as you can see.  A "cold front" had moved into CA so it was in the low 90's...just perfect if you ask me!  Once we were all reunited we took a day-trip to Legoland.  Garrett and I are still wondering why WE can't build such fascinating creations...we'll be working on it! : )
James and I will celebrate our anniversary next month but we keep going on these amazing dates and say we're celebrating early.  James told me he's happy that my favorite restaurant is Olive Garden since it's growing on him!  We walked around the Marriot where there's flamingos out front.  The photo I included shows a "show off" flamingo that spread his wings when he saw me trying to capture a photo of him!  I guess we're just too close to Hollywood or something!?!?

Back from our WONDERFUL WA Week!

School got out on Fri. and by Sat. we were aboard an airplane headed to see family.  James' youngest sibling, Kayleen, was married in April and we all gathered at the Washington reception to celebrate.  We had fun camping out at Rian and Camille's & attending a ward Memorial Day breakfast.  Many hands joined in at James' parents' to make Kayleen's event lovely!  Catching up with so many relatives was a treat.  One week allowed us to attend/see many beautiful things in WA!
Now we're back and James started TAing summer school this morning.  Garrett has one more week of baseball and the kids start their weekly art class on Thurs.
Hoping you all had a GREAT end to the school year and have a safe and wonderful summer ahead!
