Girls Camp Kickoff 2016

June 2016
Carol Bullock was called as the camp director pretty late since the other person's daughter was getting married really close to the camp dates.  Carol called Valerie Gleason and I to help her with camp.  It was a ton of work and this was one of our first activities to get everyone excited for the theme...Camp Ohana.  Ohana mean family and family means no one is left behind or forgotten!  Our main activity was supposed to be to learn the haka that a couple of the young women had created.  They couldn't make it at the last minute so luckily this elder from Samoa was hanging around the church and was able to share with us the importance of the haka and other neat messages to help the girls love the camp theme!
