Landon has a renewed love of his bear. We were given this bear by Jarrett's work when we had this baby and Landon really could of cared less about it but lately it is his favorite thing. He likes the bear to sit with him and they share meals (meaning Landon offers some to the bear and then Landon eats it). Landon is only in a diaper in the following pictures as they happened after the milk or helping mommy mop (uninvited I may add), I can't remember which.

A boy and his bear

No use crying over spilled milk
I pretty sure if anyone was going to do the crying it would have been mommy. This is what happened while I was on the phone writing down a message for Jarrett. The milk jug was half full. Later Landon helped by pouring a full thing of apple juice into my mop bucket. I don't know why this kid is being such a turkey lately, maybe he's just gearing up to ring in his 2s.

Recap
We've been battling sickness at our house and I definitely didn't have energy for anything. We were calling it a good day if both Landon and I ate something. I feel like I should write some post about resolutions but I never do them. I probably should as it is good to have goals.
I thought I'd share how I started 2009. We held a surprise Birthday party for my Mom's 60th birthday. It didn't turn out to be much of a surprise (but she did fake it for the grand kids) but it was defiantly one to remember. She was an hour late due to a car accident (nobody was hurt - it was caused by some ice). My brother kept on laughing saying "remember the party we threw for Mom and she didn't come" The party did turn out good though.
We had a white elephant gift exchange on New Year's Eve - the most interesting gift was probably a container of olives.
