Star of the Week and Curious George

Addisyn was Star of the Week in her class last week. She was so excited, but it was a lot of work for me. We had to do a poster telling all about her, I had to bring her special lunches to school, go read to her class, send stuff for show and tell, send a special snack for her and her classmates, and we got to take care of Curious George (her class's mascot) for the whole week and weekend, and then put together pictures with a story about Curious George's Adventures with Addisyn. Don't get me wrong it was fun to do these things for her to make her feel so special, but I was exhausted at the end of the week. Addisyn is such a sweet girl and so much fun to be with. I'm so glad I'm her mommy and can watch her grow everyday.

Wade is 8 (months that is)

I can't believe how fast he is growing. I need him to pause and let me catch up. 7 months was a huge month for him. Last month he learned to crawl, sit up, feed himself little finger foods, pull up on things, and switch over to formula in a bottle 24/7. That is a ton of stuff to do in just one month. His top two front teeth are also breaking through so he now has 4 teeth. When he first started crawling he did not like his belly on the floor so he did this pushup and jump forward thing. Craziest thing I've seen a baby do, but so cute. We called it his "pushup". He really loved his first Bama basketball game. He is so sweet and fun, and trying his best to keep up with his older brother and sister. He hates the sound of the vaccuum, and prefers his mommy to everyone (which is great except when I need to do things). I love watching him grow and figure things out for the first time. Happy 8 months Wade
