He's 1

I can't believe how fast a year has really gone. He is the happiest baby, and so much fun. Things about him at 1: excekkent walker, fuss at his brother/sister when they mess with him, give kisses, refuses baby food or any food with a smooth consistency, ride Bradley's scooter (with help), carries a golf club in hand at all times, won't let mama get 2 feet away from him, excellent sleeper, loves to be outside, and favorite toy is a ball and his golf club. Happy Birthday Wade!

My grandma passed this week, and it's been very hard to rap my head around. However, I know she is at peace. She was an amazing woman who I dearly loved, and my children as well.

He's getting so big!

I can't believe Wade is 10 months old. Has a year really almost gone by? He is a ton of fun. He has 4 teeth and they are so cute. His top teeth have the cutest gap between them. He is so fast crawling too. He can catch up to Addisyn and Bradley in no time. He's also started walking while holding on to the furniture so it'll be no time before he's walking. He weighs right at 20 pounds which is 25% for weight, but his length is 75-90%. So he's long and lean. He can say mama (which is uh-ma), he can also wave, has the cutest little blonde curls, and is loving eating more solid foods(ya know like with texture and bite size pieces. He's so handsome, and gives the best open mouth slobbery wet kisses. I can't wait to celebrate his 1st birthday. I have a feeling he's gonna love cake. He does the funniest thing to now. Every time I go to take his picture he closes his eyes right before the flash; however, I take plenty enough pictures so I do get some with his eyes open.

Spring Break

I know it's late but we had an awesome spring break down in Orange Beach. We headed down with Jay's brother's family for the first half, and then some of my family joined us the last half. The kids loved being there and with their cousins. Addisyn's favorite thing to do was gymnastics on the beach, Bradley's favorite was throwing shells into the ocean, and Wade loved splashing his toes in it.We can't wait to go back.

Star of the Week and Curious George

Addisyn was Star of the Week in her class last week. She was so excited, but it was a lot of work for me. We had to do a poster telling all about her, I had to bring her special lunches to school, go read to her class, send stuff for show and tell, send a special snack for her and her classmates, and we got to take care of Curious George (her class's mascot) for the whole week and weekend, and then put together pictures with a story about Curious George's Adventures with Addisyn. Don't get me wrong it was fun to do these things for her to make her feel so special, but I was exhausted at the end of the week. Addisyn is such a sweet girl and so much fun to be with. I'm so glad I'm her mommy and can watch her grow everyday.
