Fun Pictures

2011 is not turning out to be a good year for the ole blog. Everyone says that 3 children really change your life but I'm telling you, 2 children has thrown me for a loop! I cannot imagine 3 being harder! But if it is, we just might be a 2 kid household. ha ha While I work on catching up, I thought I would share some fun pictures of the girls. Even though these girls are a lot of work, they sure know how to make me laugh!

I was wondering why Emily was so quiet the other day. We are all addicted to Great American Cookie Company at our house and Emily was so happy to find that Audrey had left her cookie unattended.

It reminded me of the time Audrey found my opened bag of M&Ms when she was a baby...

Audrey is becoming more and more independent and quite opinionated about what she wears. She thinks that she should be able to choose what she wears and I still enjoy buying the clothes I would like for her to wear. Most days we can find a good compromise and some days... well... A few Sunday's ago we were about to leave for church and Audrey came downstairs all ready to go. Mommy chose the dress, Audrey accessorized, and off we went to church.

This cutie doesn't ever complain about what she's wearing. She just hates wearing clothes period. And having her diaper changed. It's literally World War 3 when she has to be changed. Every.single.time.

Brett took the girls on a bike ride and they loved it. I'm looking forward to more of those this summer. I love daddy/daughter bonding time! ha ha

Emily has hit the destructive phase of her life. I had a stack of party favors on the stairs that I needed to take upstairs and during another "I wonder what Emily is doing" moment, I found her checking it all out. This was the moment where I also discovered she can climb up the stairs.

Audrey turned 4 last week and had a Fancy Nancy birthday party. It was so much fun! I'll post pictures soon!

Sweet Moments

These are the moments that truly make all the craziness worth it.Both girls asleep at the same time? Yes, that is definitely a good moment. But if you look closely, you'll see...

It doesn't get any better than this.

Snow Fun

Excuse me while I reminisce...

Audrey's First Snow
March 2008, 11 months old

January 2011, 3 1/2 yrs old

Emily's First Snow
January 2011, 7 months oldI don't know who was more excited to go outside and make a snowman... Brett or Audrey. I know it wasn't me! Such a good dad...

Since Emily was born in the same season as Audrey, she has been able to wear all of her clothes. It saves me tons of money and it has been fun to pull out all of Audrey's stuff and try to remember her being that small. When I uploaded my pictures tonight, I realized that I had a picture of Audrey and Emily wearing the same winter coat and hat. Do you think they look anything alike???

New Year's Eve

Audrey chose to go bowling to celebrate New Year's Eve. I wasn't sure how much she was going to like it but with the bumpers and a really light ball designed for kids, she had a blast. After getting a running start, Audrey would throw the ball down the lane and then take this stance to watch it hit the pins. Funny girl.

Emily also enjoyed bowling. She cheered us on in her stroller while she worked on gnawing her rattle to death. She is currently working on tooth #2.

After bowling and pizza, we headed over to a friend's house for some yummy desserts and socializing to ring in the New Year. Although, none of us made it to midnight. But I was too tired to care! The joys of getting old! Happy New Year!

Merry Christmas!

From Our Family to Yours...
{Sorry for the poor picture quality. This is a picture of the actual picture. I was too lazy to go upstairs and scan the picture.}
See you in 2011!

Waste Not, Want Not

Audrey is on a big kick right now of saving her food. And it goes in the fridge whether it needs refrigeration or not. This is what I saw today...{Cheez-Its, Hershey's candy bar, ring pop, and a Chick-fil-a mint}

Princess-in-training

It's tough to be the youngest!
