My baby boy

Bradley is 2 months old now and such a wonderful baby. He has the best smile and the cutest dimple. He is so alert and curious about the world around him. He can recognize faces better and follow you around. His favorite thing is to be wrapped up tight and snuggled close. He loves his big sister Addisyn and gets so excited every time she comes into the room. Each day is a blessing with him. We are so lucky to have him in our family.

The Nightmare

This morning when I woke up this is what was staring me in my face. I thought for sure this was a nightmare, so I laid back down hoping I would wake up free from this, but no this was reality - my reality. Last night we returned home from our trip to Louisville. We didn't unpack before we went to bed but things did not look like this. Jay had already left for work this morning when I got up, and I wondered how he had survived this mess. It must have been a terrible struggle for him to endure on his own, and I slept through it. I am so lucky to have such a strong husband who can defend himself from the evil clutches of his suitcase.

Stubbs' Unplugged

Jay's parents bought the family a Christmas present - Rockband, that they let us open early. This is the coolest thing ever. This game is played on Xbox 360, and it contains a guitar, bass guitar, drums, and microphone. Each person has their on notes to follow for the song, and at the end you are graded on your performance. It is like you are in a real band. We had "band practice" everyday, and put on "concerts" for his parents each night. We took it really serious as if you can't tell from the picture. This is a picture of Jay with his brothers - Troy and Kyle and sister Kim performing "Dead or Alive" by Bon Jovi.

2 Peas in a Pod

Addisyn and her cousin Elsa were born about a month apart. They became best buds this past week while we were visiting Jay's family for Thanksgiving. They played really well with each other, maybe too well. They could get into things faster than we could keep up. We all soon learned if it ever got quiet you had better find them fast, as some of these pictures will prove.

Always full of surprises

Addisyn is such a sweet, happy, energetic little girl. She is so smart and acts way older than she is - thanks to her aunts. Here lately I find her getting in to things and helping herself to whatever she wants. Two nights ago Jay went in to her room to check on her while she was sleeping. He returned from her room with one of his golf clubs in his hands. He said she was asleep hugging this golf club. How did she find that, where did she get it from, and when? I ask myself these questions on a daily basis. She also has gotten good at hiding things from us, especially Bradley's things. You never know where you'll find something. Addisyn helped herself to some chocolate pudding from the fridge today, and this is a picture of how she looked when I found her. I love this little girl. She keeps me on my toes and very busy. I have learned if she gets quiet you better go find her fast.

Sunday we had Bradley blessed at church. It was such a special day for our family, and we appreciate all family and friends who came to show love and support to Bradley. Bradley is growing so fast and is such a good baby. He looked so handsome in his little outfit.

Everyone who came for Bradley's big day
