How old he is getting! 

Ice cream cones on the balcony. A favorite summer time treat. 

Benjamin pouring himself a bowl of cereal. 

The geese got a little too close for Benjamin's comfort causing him to fall in the dirt. For days after, Benjamin would randomly speak of the ducks,"go away! Over there, in the water!" We the parents were a little freaked when being pursued by the whole flock. We flung a handful of goldfish crackers to the greedy birds and made a run for it. 

This photo may look innocent and dream-like, but what followed, became a traumatic childhood memory of geese.  

We visited Burke Lake Park. The train was out of commision but Ben rode the carousel and we ate at the ice cream parlor. 

Eating out. Ben is watching Bug's Life on his portable dvd player. It was the first time we used it in a restaurant. It helped him get through dinner since he had no interest in the food.
